Newest and Realist Crew Fan

Since I can be candid here, I have never liked that quote.

 

As a joke in our household, whenever my wife calls my cell phone (which is pretty rare), the "name" that pops up on the screen is "Old Ball & Chain." This, for those of us old enough to have grown up watching the Flintstones, is a phrase that was used in one episode of that show.

Anyway, we both find it hilarious. Plus, I inevitably forget that I set up the phone that way, and always get a chuckle when ever she calls me.

 

It generally gets a chuckle, but I can understand why some may not find it humorous.

Trying to buy some 0-3 month Crew gear. The team shop doesn’t sell any. Does anybody have other ideas of where I could snag some.

 

I have occasionally seen stuff at Marc's. There does not appear to be anything on line at the Crew Store (what they have is 24 mo.)

 

Fun fact,our daughter out grew 0-3 in the first week.
Don't overload on the 0-3.
The clubstore only starting at 24 mos.is so bogus tho.

 

When Connor was around that age we found Crew onesies at Target. Granted, that was 4 years ago.

 

My son is 18 months old and outgrew his intial Crew onesies quick because hes really big like 95th percentile. Now hes wearing t shirts his 7 year old sister has outgrown. Theyre a little big on him but not so ridiculous as to be absurd lol.

 

Living where we do the local stores carry Sounders or Timbers gear which is not allowed in the house. We have quickly learned how wonderful it is when other parents gift you items as we have greatly appreciated it thus far.

Will look around for some other Crew choices for the little one.

Official due date is tomorrow so I am nervously pacing the house while she is sleeping.

 

I know it's tough but try to get some rest yourself! You'll both do great!

Not directly related to thread, but not sure where else it fit. Went over to watch the Orlando game with my 13 year old niece who has become a huge fan over the last year or so. As the season went on I was getting texts asking for injury updates and info. As the final whistle blew on the season, she broke down while sobbing with tears. Then she yelled at bit at the payed of refs (her words) and she was devastated. I absolutely loved it. Such passion, I can't wait to bring her to more game in the future. As a non kid person, I also loved being able to give her a hug goodbye and not dealing with her impending attitude the rest of the day.

 

It's been going on for 16 years now.

 

The pros play the long torture.
I'm sure his getting drunk is only mentioned occasionally in discussion over dinner choices or chore lists.

As many parents will know, first time babies can take a little longer so we are still waiting. He apparently wanted to go into extra time!
