They announced it late in the first half (I think). Normally, they do announce the English language option much earlier than that.
MLS' site and app are showing the games using the international english feed. I actually really like the graphics they use. Hoping that next year since it will be on Apple that they will be using a standard graphic pack across everything they do.
They need to get their website setup so the stream shows in the full window and not leave us with either fullscreen or a small box.
I was just thinking that if any of these first round playoff games were regular season games, they would not be high on my list to watch as a neutral. I just don't see many compelling story lines to the specific match-ups (there are for individual teams, but not for the match-ups).
Chicharito's controlled the ball well in the box, but I think there have been a couple moments when he could have dummied it instead of taking a touch and being forced to backpass.
The way Nashville is playing has sort of forced him into that style right now. What they need is for players to occupy the spaces outside the box and have a couple hits from range. They have basically allowed Nashville to sit in a block in the box and just clog up all the passing and shooting lanes. When Mark Delgado was free to hit that cross in the box there were about 6 Nashville players between him and anyone he could hit a ball to.
Well when all anyone in the media talks about is LAFC, Seattle, Portland and Atlanta.....it's no wonder there are no known storylines.
There's nothing that you would normally consider a regional match-up, unless you count Dallas & Minnesota as being from the same region. Also, almost all the games are "oldish" teams against "newish" teams - I think Montreal v Orlando comprises the match-up with the most history in the first round. And that's not exactly saying much. edit: that there are so many "newish" teams is interesting, but again those are individual team story-lines rather than specific match-ups.
LA up 1-0 as they finally get to run at Nashville when they weren't set defensively. Not so fast. Going to VAR for a possible foul on Hany.
Shross from Araujo goes off the post. Then he scores on a header. From the left side of the field. Not sure I've really seen the right back score on a header from the opposite side of the field during the run of play.
I love that cross. I also love that it was left winger Grandsir crossing from the right, to right back Araujo making the left post run.
