A point would be a good result at this stage, this could well be a battle for 3rd and Conference League play offs.

Yea get a draw or sneak in a goal on set pieces or any means possible, and then park the bus

In theory, Union should have a solid chance at their own home vs Malmo. That's basically as much of a must win as it gets. And then try to gain as many points as possible vs USG and Braga

none scored but Rashford as sub turning match around.

Sancho continues to flop for Man U. Curious if he changes clubs does he still flop? Not that I care about his dev and his continuing to flop and getting ignored by Southgate is just funny as he's supposed to be one of their next big thing.

seriously so much fuss that Pengland U17 aka 00s won U17 WCs. But where are the relevant players outside of Foden?

Brewster is a flop even in Championship, Hudson-Odoi is bang average and headed to Ghana. Smith Rowe has done nothing and always injured. None of the rest have done anything of note.

You wouldn't hear end of how their 00s and 97s winning U17 WC and U20 WC meant Pengland was going do dominate etc. The rest of Europe should tremble, LMAO

Hooliganism in the stands has suspended the Malmo vs Union match indefinitely

Union supporters shooting fireworks at a family. Doesn't get much uglier than that

Play resumes and Becker scores a huge goal to give Union the 1-0 lead

LMAO, Rashford saves Man U from tying a Cyprus team. EPL is a joke.

meanwhile Turkish league is shit, a club losing 4-3 to Kosovo.

EPL teams overspend like crazy lol. The whole Omonia squad is valued at €18.8m on transfermarkt (record transfer €1.5m) whereas Man Utd spent €87m on Harry Maguire alone who can’t even start in a defence that conceded twice :ROFLMAO:

Big 3 points for Union. Still need some results coming up but if they can win 2 of the next 3 then that's a solid argument for getting a spot for advancing onto the knockout stages

Harry Maguire was Germany's best player vs England.

EPL is just a money league that's all it is. I respect La Liga more for focusing more on domestic players. EPL every club has money to burn even the shit ones.

LOL to all 1BL players who went to Notthingham in Summer.

the amount of Maguire could be Summer budget of more than half of 1BL clubs combined, LMAO.

Nice attacking play by Freiburg for the 1-0 lead, Doan assisting Kyereh who's been a good performer lately for them and in EL

Yeah nice goal. Kyereh has looked a good addition has come up with a couple of big goals recently. Hoping to see Schade or Weißhaupt at some point.

2-0 thanks to a goal by Grifo. That should seal it for Freiburg

Nice tidy win for Freiburg, especially with Streich not present in this match due to Covid. Freiburg now with the perfect 3-0 start in EL for 9 points

While back in group D, USG with two late goals to come back and beat Braga. USG now take 1st place in the group solely with 9 points, with Braga in 2nd with 6 pts. The closer H2H for 2nd place for Union Berlin now is with Braga, although it's going to be a tough task. A draw today between USG and Braga may have been preferable IMO

And then over in the Conf League, Koeln end up losing to Partizan and will finish the match day 3rd place in their group for now

Freiburg are already pretty much guaranteed 3rd place minimum, so will be placing European football in the new year, however the ambition at this point should be to top the group and advance straight to the last 16, which would be the furthest the club has ever made it in Europe.

It is important to note that after a really long time Freiburg, a Bundesliga club not named Bayern or Dortmund, are playing good in the league as well as in Europe…

I see they are having a few clean sheets and I would take both Ginter and Gunter to the World Cup if they can keep up the form…Freiburg plays back four and therefore unlike Raum or Gosens who mainly thrive in back 3 formation, Gunter can be a good asset when Germany plays back four in World Cup

I will pick one of Raum and Gosens depending on who is in least poorer form at their club

Read an article where Hamann has allot to say about Bayern and nagelsmann - article was about the game today against Dortmund and that we will see where Bayern is standing currently . Hamman clearly criticised Nagelsmann and says that he broke something at Bayern .

Also I see Kimmich is under criticism which I don’t understand what is going on . Hamann says that he is clearly not a 6 as he does not do enough defensively . Now Kimmich was
A defender playing full back and even at times CB so I think he is probably one of the world best 6 you can get . I would rather say that it’s not per say Kimmich who is not capable of playing in that position but would rather say that it
What is wrong currently with Kimmich ( if at all ) is that how nagelsman interprets the role for Kimmich currently .

What do you guys know about this current debate around Kimmich ???

I see Man City va Southampton today - halland vs Bella Kotchap .

Hope Bella can keep Halland at bay today and has a great game . Will for sure be a big task for him and a good opportunity for some experience

I tend to agree with Hamman in a way. Recent Bayern and Germany performances kimmich has been caught out alot in transitions. He has to be more diciplined.

The new coach boost already being felt at Leverkusen as they're up 3-0, although vs a lowly Schalke

While Leipzig continues to look meh...currently trailing 0-1 to Mainz

Would be interested to see Kimmich paired with a more disciplined 6, he could then be free to come forward more. Someone like a Weigl or Janelt.

Unfortunately for Dortmund, they're once again paying the price for only having a reserve goalkeeper who previously played for a 2nd division team that got almost regelated to the 3. Bundesliga last year.
