The Daily Mail claim Haaland could be earning as much as £900,000 per week at the Etihad.

While he is said to receive a "basic salary which is line with the other higher earners" at City, Haaland is also set to earn a "series of substantial, almost-guaranteed bonuses" that will bump his weekly salary over the £850,000 mark.

According to the report, Haaland is expected to earn at least £45m at City this season, which equates to £865,000 per week.

That's not even counting the under the table money which will be exposed in 2026 or something.

These guys are getting paid the GDP of small countries

Well, at least he's actually earning it so far.

    True.

But that’s probably 4 elite level CM’s for 3 spots who need to consider themselves absolute starters.

Unless we move Fede to a RM which I don’t want to happen. I want to see Fede back into CM, he’s unique skillset is devastating from the midfield.

Nobody is "earning" a mil. Euro a week. No club generates this kind of money per week.

He is definitely earning his money so far and City can definitely afford it, they are turning over nearly £600 million a year, so ten million a week give or take.

Let’s not be sourpusses about it. At this rate he will break every attacking record there is in the EPL. He definitely should be expecting to earn Ronaldo/Messi level wages.

Good for him. But he's earning 5 times as much as Vini and 4 times as much as Benz. Mbappe was offered 2x as much as Benz in wages by RM. We gotta offer wages without 4x, 5x gap from other world class players in the squad. Ronaldo was earning 2x more than Ramos etc.

So Haaland might never be a realistic option if he hopes to continue earning the kind of wages only state clubs can afford.

I refuse to believe anybody is paying a player a mil. per week.

He’s not playing for us so I don’t see what that has to do with anything? Whether we can afford to pay him similar in the future is irrelevant to whether he is earning his money at City.

He is playing for City, they have the money to pay him what he asked for and he is surpassing expectations for them, so he deserves all he can get off them.

Wasn’t Messi’s contract equating to 100 million a season or something?

Because some people here act like he was a realistic option for RM last summer and talk about "missing out on him" every weekend when he's tearing apart PL teams. RM couldn't have gotten anywhere near what City gave him.

I'm curious; if he played for RM or Farca - would he be getting this same kind of coverage from the media?

He's the early BDR front runner for next year. I reckon same would be the case if he was scoring these many for RM or Barca. In fact, even better chance of winning at those clubs probably. One who's not getting any attention outside France this season is Mbappe. Haaland, Neymar and Vini getting far more media coverage while Mbappe has been making negative news mainly.

The only problem with this report is that it's from the Daily Mail.

I hope the club isn't stupid enough to keep Valverde playing on the right. The Bellingham rumors make no sense.

Yeah Fede will be RW, but he’s good anywhere we play him so I don’t mind.

Fede is a good player at right wing, but he is not a right winger. I don’t know if he wants to play there his entire career.

If we buy Bellingham but end up losing Fede it will be a big mistake imo.

Endrick made his debut as a substitute for Palmerias. Played around 20 mins but didn't score.

Unpopular thought: What if Camavinga is not as good as we think he is?

Its possible. But lets nots forget that hes is much younger than Tchou if thats what we are comparing him with.

Also Bellingham (not for that price tho) makes sense if one of Kroos and Modric decide to call it a day (hopefully not at the same time).
