Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

I'm doing the Germany and the Canada games obviously no issue with 4pm and 10pm kickoffs. Al Thumama is one of the more awkward venues. If the 7pm game there is your priority and you want a 2nd game then Morocco v Croatia in Al Bayt is probably the best bet. Any of these 4 games should be an easy ticket.

 

I am dying to see where my seats are in 61, since they are cat 4’s I am just glad I am somewhere in the stadium . Finals I am in 564 row U, almost at the back , but they are better than 7xx blocks of cat 1

 

I have tickets to South Korea v Portugal but I'd rather go to the Brazil v Cameroon game later that day -- but I can't cart Brazil v Cameroon since the games are too close together. I'd rather not give up my South Korea v Portugal tickets unless I can cart Brazil v Cameroon ones. Any ideas how I can do it?

make another account and use that to try and cart cameroon vs brazil

 

My friend would like to trade tickets for Morroco-Croatia match. He has 2 CAT3 tickets in block 544 (on Morrocan side). He would like to be on the other side of stadium where Croatia fans are.

I am basically doing this exact thing - I will cut the Portugal game short and head to Brazil - really want to see Lusail stadium. I asked a few pages back, so allow me to pass along the knowledge. @leonidas let me know that - You need to make a second Fifa account. Use a different email address and credit card to purchase. Should be fine using same details as first account. This is how it has been done for past cups, but nobody knows for sure until the first match. Dont sweat it!

sec 324 in al janoub & section 514 in lusail (both cat 1s)

i bought them in early phases which allowed me to book flights and accommodations with less stress . . . at this point im going to try and add another cat 1 in last minute phase but super close to the action

happy to be in the stadium and not having to be on the computer waiting for drops, but def frustrating

 

yeah you would like that but 100% no. I meticulously documented all our seats, and then they moved them. So I think FIFA is still resolving some seating for some matches - for whatever reason.

 

Both are on the metro. You should easily be able to wait until the final whistle and still make kick off in Lusail. I'm doing the other games that day and Al Thumama is much tougher but still expect to see the final whistle there and anthems in 974.

 

After checking zillion times: in both 974 and Lusail: 100’s series block is the good stuff, other than that, no. Rows starts at A and ends at ZZ. Nobody knows what’s a corner block and only Infantino and his entourage has midfield seats.

 

it was said long ago on these forums but should be repeated. The stadium that are NOT on the metro line are the ones that start with "Al"

 

I think upper level in the 6 smaller 40k stadiums can be just fine. I am in the 3rd row of Ahmad Bin Ali for USA v Wales and I think those seats will be just fine. If I was all the way back in the very last rows then not so good, but the front part of the upper sections are OK to me.

 

Thanks for your input. I do think the 4pm and 10pm ones will be better matches, but have some Spaniards in the group and would like to for the most part stick together. Will likely go from Spain vs Costa Rica to Canada vs Belgium then.

 

I’ve sold 2 out of 3. I’m nervous about selling rd16 because it’s just going to be a couple days in between when the game is known and when it’s played. Plus for me, depending how Korea does, it may end up being an unattractive match.
