Early days but I don't see it for him physically at this level.

If you thought he was bought to be a starter, you were not paying attention.

    Isn’t that usually the issue?

Folks not paying attention to what actually is going on? The players real ability and standing, the reason they are at a team?

Sigh. Place like this gets repetitive and boring real fast.

I dint see starter unless Suarez got sold (which in the summer looked possible) but I did think he'd get more minutes

You telling us how smart you are and how dumb everyone else is in almost every post is pretty boring and repetitive too. And I say this as someone that generally agrees with your points.

It's telling that I don't even have to unignore to know who you are talking about.

Agreed, Which means this exercise has run it’s course. Shocked I lasted a year.

    Good luck guys,

    I mean that.

    Hahahahahahaha.

Did that poster figuratively just storm out of the boyfriend’s college dorm room, stop with one green tight covered leg half way out of the door, Turn her torso draped with a Delta Delta Delta half shirt, following her shoulder with her head and slightly lagging bangs to look back and say:

“I’m like totally ********ing leaving you, how did I even last a year” pausing to smack her lips, “I like really mean it”.

Luca came on for the last 20 minutes to help kill off the game and hold on for a 1-0 win.

Luca played very well. He had a nice dribble and created a couple of good chances. Hope someone posts an all touch video.

Watching those clips I think that's what they were expecting from Luca vs Japan but that's another discussion.

That was his longest appearance of the season so far and he looked good. Hopefully he builds off it

Real Betis was playing with 10 men since 20’ and was pressing for a goal. Luca was also dispossessed 2x in his 20 minutes. Context.

Not exactly what I think of when I hear line splitting passes but definitely playing how we all expect him to. Surging with the ball and playing the pass before the pass type balls.

Highlights are highlights. They aren't impressive for highlights - 1 good not great pass, one good dribble then releasing the ball late leading man to defender, and just a basic dribble into space and layoff almost anyone would do in that situation.

Also, context matters. It was against 10 men. And negatives, like TO's & reckless foul, are being glossed over.

Sofascore rated him a team low 6.1. That's overly negative. Truth is in the middle. I motored thru the end of the game on replay. I'd say he was OK.

I don't know if he plays next game or not off this type of performance and with this having been a circumstance of coming off an int'l break, up a man, etc. It would in all likelihood be off the bench and situational.
