When you lose your number one fan… Tucker: House Republicans just spelled out what they’re running on. It’s a document called the commitment to America. It’s fine… Have you heard of it? No.. Nobody really cares. Why? Because there is nothing real in it. pic.twitter.com/NBjIcFVekr— Acyn (@Acyn) September 27, 2022
Heel turn. Rupert sees his days coming to an end and turns his media properties on the GOP, burying them once and for all.

Now, this is a GQP position I can totally support: Most of Alabama GOP chairman John Wahl’s extended family have been blocked from voting because they won’t show photo ID. In a 2016 deposition, his brother explained why: They consider photo ID the mark of the beast foretold in Revelation. 🧵 https://t.co/LD01RY7NYR— Kyle Whitmire (@WarOnDumb) September 27, 2022
I think I'll use this in my comp class tomorrow as an answer to the questions, what is a "rhetorical question"?
Well, at least, they had a rational, well-reasoned argument as to why they did not want to have photo ID.

Whatever number, split it in half: Marjorie Taylor Greene's husband, Perry, has filed for a divorce from the congresswoman. "The marriage between the Petitioner and the Respondent is irretrievably broken." pic.twitter.com/WmLg0Kbgf6— Charles Bethea (@charlesbethea) September 29, 2022
This seems like a winning strategy: This is a really solid midterm strategy for the GOP. They should definitely keep this up. https://t.co/2xwSTLkYqk— Angry Staffer 🌻 (@Angry_Staffer) September 29, 2022 I mean, I don't think they have standing and I know is a long game, but the timing seems less than optimal.
Apparently in one of the cases the "injury" being sued over is a $1000.00 state income tax liability created by the forgiveness of $20000.00 in loan debt. 1.)Seems like an odd sort of injury that leaves you $19000.00 to the good... and 2.)Seems like the state legislature could fix that without bringing the courts into it. Maybe even the Governor by himself...
Sleeping with a he enemy: Calling the leaks in the Nord Stream pipelines "a potential midterm election operation," Charlie Kirk says US intelligence agencies are "guilty until proven innocent in this situation. Not to mention that I suppose one could "reject" the cancelation and just go ahead and, well, pay the $20,000.00. On a side note, when I had the last of my law school debt cancelled a year ago through the PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness), the state tax hit was a bit of a shock, but I gladly paid it! I work in both Wisconsin and Illinois, but only Wisconsin taxes the debt forgiveness.
As I often say, they completely lack self awareness, otherwise they would not be republicans: So close to getting it. So close. https://t.co/zkKPpVJv6e— Brian Tyler Cohen (@briantylercohen) September 29, 2022
