The stakes are high for both teams with the Rapids coming in with a lot of injuries. How will Fraser handle squad rotation? Looks like Rubio could use a bit of a break but can the Rapids afford to keep him on the bench for long? This is one match where Toure could have made a difference. 1559591536131575808 is not a valid tweet id 1559511037635862528 is not a valid tweet id
Maybe it’s a broken heart caused by unfulfilled promises season after season from the front office. The man does put his heart and soul into this club after all. Get well soon Pricey. Need Captain Jack out there

Man this is a hard team to watch. The defense is not only porous, but literally gifts goals. Abubakar stinks, but he has to play. As Fleming said, “Vancouver is ahead 2-0 and didn’t play well.”
Vallecilla and Max are terrible and shouldn't be playing in MLS all. The fact they have gotten as many minutes as they have shows the systemic failure of management to build a competitive roster.
Our starting midfielders tonight: 1560111159209971712 is not a valid tweet id 1560110960618004481 is not a valid tweet id Why. On. Earth. Would you start those guys next to each other? They don’t complement each other in the slightest. They are both players who like to drift all over to find possession and tend not to cover back or track runs on defense. Was also surprised to see Max had a similar statistical game as Gutierrez. He outplayed in some arenas and worse in others. Think it speaks to the fact that you had two similar guys out there trying to play a double pivot 6. Didn’t click. Also….Watching Priso’s 55min or so for the rapids this season and I have to wonder why he hasn’t gotten more looks with how pour our midfield tends to look - especially given Price’s injury. I think it should be Priso and Acosta starting until Price returns from injury. Kid was an immediate presence in the middle, something we missed all night before his coming on. What killed us tonight though was poor poor poor passing. My gosh that was pitiful on the countless giveaways we had. Vancouver hurt our playoff chances for sure - but we certainly didn’t look like a playoff team tonight
I think my favorite thing about the Vancouver announces was their pronunciation of: Rosen-Bury Barry-os And I feel like the were intentionally picking on “The Brazilian, Max”. It was humorous to me at least
Interesting comment from one of the Whitecaps' announces who mused that the Rapids having not having played at BC Place since 2019 struggled with the surface early in the match which led to the ill advised passes. Watching on TV, I came away thinking the Rapids were about a foot away from winning the match. The chip into Zardes from Rubio that Zardes missed timed and then the header off a ball from Priso that hit the post. It was that close and frustrating. Not trying to excuse the first half eff ups, but the Rapids were able to get themselves into a position to get at least a point. Fraser was limited in his selection for this match and that certainly had an impact.
Not getting a point was extremely frustrating. Have to give Vancouver credit for burying both mistakes in the net. Two top notch finishes.
