Maybe this is why we underperform.
It’s about $1 million more per year than LAFC’s Jersey sponsorship signed last year. Herbalife is definitely paying a premium for continuing what is the longest jersey sponsorship in MLS and American sports generally (and possibly one of the longest globally). And with crypto and betting sites (up until recently), it’s not even clear it’s the most immoral of the jersey sponsors anymore. We may not like it, but it is what it is. AEG is always going to take the money and my guess is the premium more than makes up for a very slight hit to jersey sales.
Don't like. But understand. Biggest deal in the league, I think. And pays 3 DP salaries. And I suppose appropriate because Herbalife pays for 3 and gives the output of 1.
