Diaby played RW tho. At least the games I watched. He’s a good player and someone I thought we should look into. But his price tag is high. Also I’m wary of Bundesliga wingers after seeing a sure shot like Sancho struggling.

Not sure the club was/is "looking" for forwards/wingers after the Mbappe debacle for 22/23.

We should buy yousoufa moukoko from dortmund as back up striker and give him minutes in la liga when we rest benzema..he is in last of year of contract..he started this season with two goals and a assist..we should be able to buy him cheap..20M€ maybe?

Benz will only be rested in a handful of games. Moukoko is 17 and Dortmund is the perfect club for him to develop. He didn't renew so far because he thought he should be playing more already at 16 last season.

Since he's getting minutes and performing well so far this season, why would he switch that for back up minutes at RM? Haller is unavailable for Dortmund due to cancer treatment. Moukoko could have regular minutes, have a good number of G/A and make the big move next summer instead.

Young strikers are not just jumping at the opportunity of minimal role at a big club when they have the option of taking Haaland route. Sesko did the same.

I would buy moukoko...this season in very long..we have a world cup in the middle of season...benzema needs to rest..he cant play 50-60 games..its too risky..we can guarantee moukoko for sure 15-20 games..thats a lot for a young player like him..and in two years when benzema retires or part ways we will have a experience 19-20 year old strike who we can pair with Endrick..Moukoko is perfect oppprtunity..its not a big risk financially

Carlo is not leaving out the best striker in the world for 15-20 games to guarantee that much playing time for a 17 year old with 1000 minutes of total experience at pro level.

You’re exactly right. Benzema has transcended. When Cristiano was here, how much did we worry about his backup? The guy would play every second he could. That’s where Benzema’s level is at the moment. When Messi was at Barcelona, did anyone worry about his backup? Did anybody get 15-20 games behind either of them? It’s not going to happen.

Which is why it is silly that we aren't begging Cavani to come.

Carlo won't play any youngster. At all. So we need a journeyman who doesn't need a workload or rhythm of play to score.

Cavani is free and we can give him whatever contract we want.

At what point does that journey end though lol. He’s 36 soon and there was plenty of talk of his body starting to fail him. Who knows how true that is.

I want us to bring in a player who can come off the bench and poach in a goal, someone good in the air. Someone with Cavani’s style would be ideal really.

Sort of what Mariano should actually be, an all action strong attacker, but who isn’t completely terrible.

There are options out there who would have been happy playing back up to Benz and who were proven La Liga players.

Kike Garcia who scored 12 goals last season in the league has moved onto Osasuna for free this season to play back up for Chimy Avila.

Jose Luis Morales who scored 13 goals last season in the league moved to Villarreal for free, to back up the likes of Moreno and Jackson.

Cavani for a short-term contract would be a good pick-up, but I don't think the club is planning to sign anyone.

I see the news (hype) linking us to Matheus Nascimento has died done with his goalless career start to Serie A season.

I think our main goal should be securing Endrick. Anything that conflicts with this should be casted away or put aside till we know where his future lies.

An older striker like Cavani works over those other ones because we avoid a longer contract.

Vitor Roque already played all four games in the knockout stage of this year's Copa Libertadores. He scored the winning goal in the previous round. He seemed to be a very strong player.

One of my good friends is a big Athletico Paranaense fan. I asked him about Roque and he said he has never seen a kid of this talent at his club. Said he’s going to be like R9 and the club is going to want 100 million for him lol

He came from Cruzeiro, R9's old club, I noticed. He will turn 18 in February. He cannot join us until the summer, right?

He likens him to Ronaldo because of balance if you ask me. Ronaldo perfected that ability to shield and use balance to beat close defenders, dribbling them with ease.

This kid shows flashes of that.

    Then the finishing ability.

Anyways these talents flash multiple a year in Brazil then crash or fade. We will see..

Ziyech probably wants out of Chelsea. He has been linked with Manchester United and AC Milan. He can be a last minute loan deal option if nothing works for him or us not getting a striker. I don't expect him to wrap up a lot of minutes here, but that is his problem. He will be an upgrade from Asensio, and our rotation will become more flexible with him rather than Asensio.

Of course, Asensio needs to go, but who will take him.

Ziyech doesn't move me in any facet. At least Asensio has a good left foot that allowed him to score a good number of goals last season. I don't think Ziyech is an upgrade tbh. I'd rather bring on Asensio as scoring option than Ziyech.

There was an update on Saturday. Also he apparently deleted most of his Barca days pics from Instagram.

I don't get why there us "radio" in the first place.

This is a kid with talent for Castilia and media and fans are hyping this like it's a first team gamechanging addition.

Agreed, and it’s probably because the media along with the clubs supporters are focused on the gaping hole in attack we have and hoping for some movement.
