The Peacock block of all mid-day Premier League games continues!

I'm sure I'll make time to watch this one live. Looking forward to seeing and hearing all the Arsenal fans at the Emirates in full voice for the home opener. 2-0 to the good guys, with goals from White and Martinelli, the two hardest working Gunners in the squad!!

Leicester are in trouble atm. Would be super to put 4 past them and bump our GD up before they go and buy some good players in January.

If Tielemans really wants to play for Arsenal, he'll put 3 in his own net.

But really, it will be interesting to see if Rodgers keeps him out of the lineup.

I feel this game is going to be trickier than expected. Leicester look like they could be in for a rough year, so Brendao is going to have them fired up looking to change the narrative, or he won't make it to the end of the season.

Yeah i agree. Which is why we need to set a tone for the season and get the dub here.

As loud as Selhurst Park typically is, I was impressed at how often you could hear the Arsenal fans in the crowd last week, even before we scored the first goal. I expect the Emirates to be raucous on Saturday.

    I hope you’re right.

BUT there’s a huge difference between away supporters and home supporters.

The former sing their hearts out for 2 hours. The latter too often can’t seem to be bothered or can’t get together or just don’t feel comfortable singing or making noise. See Highbury Library. ;)

There are exceptions of course, e.g. NLD’s. Whether LCFC will rise to be truly “raucous” we shall have to see.

    Team news?

Viera & ESR are fit and sound likely to be in squad.

Tierney got praise from the boss, so it’ll be an interesting/difficult decision at LB methinks.

Nelson is out, not that that makes too much difference.

Have to work tomorrow, so just as well since I don't have Drag Chicken TV. Regardless, Up the Arsenal!

Competition is the key to improvement. Why do you think we are looking for someone to challenge Saka. If he isn't pushed he will plateau eventually.

Lineup unchanged from Palace, ESR and Tomiyasu make the bench at the expense of Nelson and Cedric.

    Tielemans starts for Leicester.

Whoa scary run by Fofana there! Probably should’ve been 0–1 at this point. One bullet dodged.

    Ps. Thank you Aaron! :)

Xhaka making final third runs is not exactly typical

And almost opening his account. Hits the post! Then OZ can’t control rebound. Hmm.

Very cheeky goal; defender on his back, top corner lob over the keeper... no pace, just touch.
