Yunas may be a nice guy but he is a terrible recruiter. Why hasn‘t he closed the deal yet?

    Has Florian chosen England?
Looks like he has stated he likes the English style of play and has represented them quite a lot at the U 21 level

I don't think he has chosen yet because he likely hasn't been offered a slot with either NT. My guess is that he would choose England all else held equal given his youth NT experience but if the US were to give him a slot he might jump ship. Again, at this point I don't think either team is seriously considering him for the WC... so why make the decision now?

Well, when looking at his US competition: a guy playing in the Championship, a guy not playing much for a terrible Bundisliga team, a guy in the Championship who's always injured, a good MLS striker, a guy who scored 5 goals two years ago playing in the Championship...his path is pretty clear.
Looking at the wiki page for England's men's team and he's got 5 or 6 Champions League regulars just in the current squad, not even counting recent call ups. He's got no shot for England this year and a very, very slim chance of ever having a shot.

If he scores 10 goals for Riems by November, isn't he an obvious choice?

I guess if he blows up he would be considered. Just seems pretty unlikely as he would be coming into our NT w/ no experience w/ our squad... as I assume he won't be there in Sept. Also think it is unlikely that he scores 10 goals by November... but you never know. He does have talent.

Yes, if he's on pace for the Ligue 1 Golden Boot, he's an obvious choice.

    That's just not very likely.

Musah was asked about his bud and pretty much told folks he is a London Boy at heart and that ain‘t changing any time soon, or something to that extent. It was a pretty blatant he ain‘t switching any time soon.
Someone needed cheap easy hits, slow day and threw out an easy old article that might get a few.

Happy to be wrong about this!

The way he played at Middlesbrough I felt like he was destined to become a winger, didn't think he had these CF instincts.

Well, since the cutoff date for submitting WC squads is October 13th, I'd say scoring 10 goals by November is kind of an irrelevant metric, no?

Reims have all of 8 Ligue 1 games (nothing European or Coupe de France there) between now and that date. Scoring 4 would be a remarkable achievement and he'd need to score at least 2 of those before September 19th to warrant a callup to integrate him into the team.

There are only 5 games between now and the September break. He's one for 2026, if he's still interested.
