Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

I made my Qatari account, f*** it. Waiting on 50 and 52. My only issue is that the cat4 seats are so darn bad.

 

M50 cat4 is like gold dust which is essentially free

I provided a fake number so I wouldn’t know. After what has happened in the last 5 days I have zero (in fact, negative) concerns that FIFA can implement any of their rules as long as I have a valid ticket

 

I just put my first tickets for resale (CAM-BRA cat 2) and I see the same "companion ticket" text. Did we determine that it is normal? I remember someone said being $200 usd down.

 

I am just wondering If these recurring drops at 2:00am Qatar time are targeting the American continent fans and not the Middle East region fans, why dropping CAT4 tickets then?
Do they want internationals to buy CAT4?
Even the residents I know they are not interested in CAT4.

 

Regarding the change of date for Qatar opener, just read this in The Guardian newspaper (U.K.):

 

I got same message for any ticket i put in resale CAM-BRA cat 2 included. All have been sold without problem
But for this match i had to wait 3 or 4 days until it was sold.

 

I have successfully added one matchday visit, but can't add any more than one 24 hr period, so will need to keep adding them as I fly a few times from Muscat to Doha

Just put my Cat-2 Match 2 SEN v NED ticket for resale 17 hours ago and it just resold! My priority is Match 4 USA v WAL. I figure it looks pretty certain M2 gets moved to 7pm Qatar time, but if not, I can concentrate on M4.

I'm surprised this resold so quickly. Maybe M1 ticetholders that can easily make M2 as well now... or they don't know about the probable schedule change.

 

Wise move, think we will do the same, maybe get a cat 3 eng v Iran if possible now to get back up to 2 games

 

So far I've sold back 8 different matches cat 2 tkts , I've been very surprised how quickly they all sold I got them in the random ballot and fancied other matches after the draw was made ..have collected 8 cat 3 tkts now to different games.

 

The answer to this is simple.

In order to start the tournament 24 hours early, FIFA have simply moved all the matches back 24 hours.
So for #1 - #63 all the tickets are valid, but not for the matches or teams you were expecting.

However, because there will now be no game on 18th December, #63 now becomes the final, and tickets for match #64 are null and void.

They still had plenty of cat 4 for #63, hence the sales on the resale platform

And of course the drop happened when i was on a work call with headphones, so couldnt hear the scanner lol. They did it earlier than expected !

Only Category 4 tickets for Semifinal and Final. I am tired of this sh!t. It is the smallest section in the stadium but those are the only tickets they are selling? FIFA is playing games here.

 

No tickets for M24 & M7 again, it’s been 4 days now, waking up at 2:30 in the morning for this is no fun. I’m really getting tired of this

 

I've got 3xcat3 for NED SEN and my priority is WAL USA too. I bought M2 from the resale, on a matter of principle I'm loath to resell them giving fifa another 5%,

thoughts on holding on?

I'm hoping fifa offer to to cancel the purchase (or swap them for M8s!). I guess i'll have chance to sell them further down the line in another resale portal closer the the start.
