So everyone caught up to him September after he led the League in chances created at the end of August?

You basing your desire for Konrad to succeed on one month where no one knew who he was, or how he played?

No I am attacking a flawed observation. What went wrong was probably between his ears.

Guy has good technique, but that's only a start. Valladolid is arriving with no bite, they're keeping a couple of their recent loanees (Kike and Gassama) but they need to buy a striker. Weissman is unlikely to cut it in the first div.

I think we agree more than you realize.

i mentioned he tactically hasn’t evolved (too Barca dogmatic in his play) as well as physically lost some of his Barca B/enfentil era advantages.

Point is - he had good looks by Barca - the USMNT - Ligue Un squads - had his coach question his professionalism - and now he’s going back to a La Liga minnow.

I hope this move works out and he finds his groove.

Got yah. I watched him quiet a bit at Barca B. He was much more explosive at that age. I definitely had to readjust after watching him at Marseillie. Still, he has enough to hang at a higher level IMO. Excellent technique and quick on the ball.
I do agree that his crossing and final ball after he made his moves were poor.
He also can‘t do what he did at lower levels. Still, there is a player there IMO.
He just needs to play and learn and adjust. We will see where he finds that.
This is a great opp. He is clearly gonna get chances.
He is going to have to produce final product. Goals and assists.

If he doesn‘t do it here then it‘s time to worry because what is the next move.
    Just get it done son.

Yeah. I think you guys are close, but are looking at it in different ways.

Still, when push comes to shove produce. No one can argue with that.

Possible interest from Bayern? Maybe the Valladolid loan fell through?

I just saw this which has a bit more info. It says Bayern came into the picture and the Valladolid deal fell apart. Also that Besiktas, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Burnley, Olympiacos and Porto are interested. I can’t understand why Bayern would have any interest.

Bayern’s tentacles are everywhere (there’s money to be made). Think “Flip This House.” Still curious, I agree.

Why would Bayern sense an opportunity here?

i would rather americans go to wolfsburg than bayern. i have no clue how everyone bitches and moans about loan army epl teams but act like bayern has any interest in our players actually playing for them.

Spotted this on Reddit, but apparently Turkish sources think that Besiktas will get de la Fuente on loan from Marseille.

For what it's worth, the journalists I've actually heard of who have weighed in on this have entirely dismissed the Bayern link. E.g.,

Beşiktaş has plenty of wide attackers though: Ghezzal, Jackson Muleka, Nkoudou, Karaman, Tyler Boyd, and the new guy they got on a free who has not played in ages (Tosun?).

    Would he start?

He was on the bench for the Milan friendly after four months injured, so maybe he's not match fit yet, or they're protecting him for a possible loan or sale.

Although even before his injury he was a bench guy and has not played since February, so it's possible he's in the doghouse.

It's pretty common to not have a player available if he is being considered for a loan. Because FIFA rules limit you to 2 teams per season, you don't want to lose your flexibility if the 1st loan doesn't work out.

    Olympiakos wants in the game:

Marseille and Olympiakos have reached an agreement for the transfer of Konrad de La Fuente. • Olympiakos invited Konrad de La Fuente, who is interested in Beşiktaş, to Athens to hold transfer negotiations.
