I don't know where you got that. From what I saw and read in multiple ratings sites, he was the best player on the pitch or close to it.
Your last sentence is false. The ball was absolutely near Brenden's foot and shin. But how near? It isn't clear at all. In the post-match interview, Brenden claimed that the ball hit his shin. The video says that is a possibility, but we cannot be sure. I would advise that you look at the slow-motion view of the play and step through it frame by frame. I have done that about 20 times, and I'm still not sure. It is entirely possible that Brenden hit it last. It is also possible that he did not. Whatever the case, it doesn't really matter. Glory Glory Leeds United!
@ @bungadiri Hope you kept your balls on the short grass! Real question is, do you still feel the burn? “The Human Heatmap: Brendan Aaronson Burning it Up at Leeds”
I think you need to direct the burn to @dark knight He seems to have capo di tutti capi status around these parts.
Don't @ me here, haha, but there are not many players in the pool the have such a natural, fun, long-term nickname. He has been known as the Medford Messi, IIRC, since before he debuted with the Union's first team. Started in jest really because of the alliteration, but now with his growth its less ridiculous. Substituting a real nickname for an overly wordy, made-up, albeit fitting, pun just seems like overthinking it. "The Medford Messi" is like BA on the field, direct. Thanks for listening to my sermon.
👀 @AMTAutoUK's Spotlight returns! This week, it shines a light on Brenden's debut against Wolves! pic.twitter.com/FNTYCmEXau— Leeds United (@LUFC) August 8, 2022 Look at 0:57. That's Brenden's goal.
This site is like drunk grandmas that refuse to admit their grandson isn’t special. Don’t opine til you watch minute 77 slowdown on the broadcast. It’s super clear.
Yep, that's exactly what I saw in that video. Seems pretty damn clear. Upon further viewing, it looks like the defender might not have even touched the ball. Either way, it last came off of Aaronson and into the back of the net. It's his goal, and I hope Leeds has quietly petitioned for it to be reviewed.
You just replied to a post with a video that shows the ball coming off Brenden's shin. I agree that it's clear. Why don't you watch the video? Don't tell me about other videos, because I have seen all of them and I have watched them frame by frame. The problem with any video is when the frame rate is slower than the action. You miss things. Well here we have a still picture from the video. I would also remind you that Brenden said that the ball came off his shin. Well, there it is.
You are kidding right? The ball is a couple feet in front of him at that point when the ball is at ‘shin’ height. 2D vs 3D chief.
are we still talking about that goal? wow. "precious bodily fluids Mandrake .... " or let's keep looking for the second shooter on the grassy knoll. That would be more productive folks. or maybe some BS sleuth should hire someone to go ask the Wolves defender if he touched it or not. You would think he would know.
