There is some hispanic-looking GK I don’t recognize, I think #31. Who would that be? JT is here but on the bike, not on the field
At some recent date, the FO decided to no longer invite us lowly Terrace Pass holders to these events. They didn't even bother to inform us or give us the chance to upgrade to get this perk again. They invited me to the preseason chalk talk and to similar events since 2019, when they initiated the Terrace Pass option. I found out about the July 31 autograph session when I attended the Quakes II match that evening, wondered why the parking lot was so crowded, saw the STH event in the Epicenter from my (paid for) seat in the stadium and discussed the situation with another Terrace Pass holder who was similarly irked. They are doing so many things wrong.
I got a notice about this + a bunch of other stuff but forgot about it. Maybe they could try out the folks who are there at left back. We’re gonna need one.
They were sort of playing Will Richmond in LB in their small-sided game. But he can’t even defend Cade.
"But I don't want to play left back!" "No, you see, Will, left back is the greatest of all positions. Let me tell you why......well, some other time..." Richmond played right winger IIRC against Celta but he usually plays on the left. With Quakes II he plays more like a wide forward on the left and doesn't play much defense. So not sure how he'd do as a LB. He's not even left-footed, but can cross well with his left. It would be kind of like Shea Salinas playing LB except that Salinas is a lot faster.
"Let me tell you about the legendary LB Kip Colvey, who once had 6 key passes in one half of an Open Cup game".
Emi Ochoa traveled to Minnesota for the MLS NEXT Pro All Star game to be played tomorrow (Wednesday, 12 pm EST). The other keeper was Eric de la Cerda who is the backup for Emi on MLS NEXT Pro team Earthquakes 2.
