To be fair, stats can be presented in many different ways to support an argument. With that said, I think Kai is very talented but overrated at the moment.
It's definitely deceptive. I think Havertz had something like 4 goals and 4 assists last season against the bottom 3.
Some rumors it might be a loan. Imagine spending €165 million for the privilege of loaning two strikers back to the teams they used to play for.

Crazy move for me considering the lack of other forward options at Chelsea. Werner must have demanded the exit. He’s a flawed player, but one of the few Chelsea players seemingly capable of destabilizing the defense with his speed. He causes problems and opens up space, even if he hasn’t been able to finish his chances.
isn’t that the point. That he was good against teams not on the EPL level but ineffective vs EPL quality sides?
first, that was a different season with different players. Second if we evaluate players based on one event we get silly ideas. Jovan Kirovski scored in the champions league semis to get his team into the final. How do you explain that? That champions league final goal year KH had 4 goals in 27 appearances. You can add 5 assists and it’s still only a goal/assist per every 3 games. Now in Germany he was something else…
What does Havertz have to do with Pulisic? CF isn't Havertz's best position but CP isn't going to fill it. Chelsea has been looking for a top CF but not looking great to sign one this window.
I read Leicester somewhere. Either way, getting out of a logjam to a lower level club where he'll have more chances to develop would be good for him. He still has some upside, although it might be at wingback. CP showed some pretty good moves on that play vs. the GK late in the game. No one else on that team could have made that move in a month of Sundays except for Sterling. He's going to get his chance.
They do and have been trying. On another note, Man City looks like they will be ridiculous with Haaland. Going to be difficult for them not to win the league.
Well Puli appears 4th choice across the Sterling/Kai/Mount front 3. But I expect Mount to play a fair amount in midfield and Puli to rotate frequently into getting starts. Stacked schedule. Kai having up and down form. Sterling won't start every match. I bet Puli starts 50%+ of matches he's healthy for. One thing about Tuchel is if something isn't working, he changes the lineup quickly. He's not gonna watch too many matches where Kai/Mount were as poor as they were and not rotate Puli in. Of course, Kai/Mount were used incorrectly but that's another discussion.
Not any longer. With the new ownership, I expect future CFC deals to be more purposely and measured. Which I think is good for the league and soccer overall. Those huge mega deals for Neymar, Dembele, etc. were more harmful than good for soccer, in general.
Crazy, but I think CP might have more chances at the attack with City instead of CFC (assuming Timo, CHO, and Ziyech stay). Who does City have at winger, attacking forward? Folden, Grealish, Mahrez, who else?
I don't think it's that crazy. They score more goals and a higher percentage of the goals they score are scored by attackers. Then again, if Chelsea can get a decent guy up top, he might start doing better at Chelsea as well. I'd think Sterling and CP out there together could be really disruptive. Maybe I'm wrong about that, but I'd love to see them at least try it a few times.
