Are expectations different after the win Tuesday night? Or was that an aberration - on the attacking end :)? Certainly the players and coaches feel they are in a better place now mentally than just a week ago.

We all know that MUNFC is coming in light personal wise and thus talent wise the Rapids should have an advantage.

Will Gutiérrez get a few minutes? Is Price ready for playing time? Toure looks to have earned himself more first team time.

No midweek game this week for the Rapids but after next week's match v Columbus it's gonna get challenging as the Rapids will play 5 matches in 18 days.

Looking forward to seeing another game at Dicks with still a little life clinging on to the season. With Tuesdays 9 goal craziness in mind, I'm hoping for at least 6 goals. But I won't get it. 3-1 Rapids. But I have no idea.

It’s almost as if the 4-4-2 was probably the better fit all along…..

Offense wide open and connecting well. Great to have Pricey back. Zardes with service able to connect multiple times. Rubio active and dangerous. Really great start.

To paraphrase the late-great John Madden "It doesn't matter how many goals you allow, as long as you score more you win the game."

In most cases 7 goals allowed in two games would be a nightmare...

You have to our score your opponent to win….. So if you’re scoring 9 goals in a week and conceding 7, I can live with it. As long as we’re scoring more. We’ll see how long this lasts. Two big wins and six points is massive. Jammed packed Western Conference table. A mere 6 points separates 3rd and 11th. Every point and every game is vital from here on out. We’re in the playoff hunt for now.

Looking at the three goals conceded in this one. they were all stoppable, but Minnesota deserves credit on some of them too.

On the first Vallecilla had a mare. He gives away a cheap corner he could have avoided, then completely loses his man on the kick for the goal. Minnesota got some luck as the ball threaded the needle through the box but the rest of the defense had the United attack pretty well covered other than Vallecilla's man.

On the second Esteves got megged, and Wilson was a bit too far off his man, but a nice backheel pass by the attacker to himself and then a sliding shot over Wilson's leg and just pass Yarbrough's hand. Sometimes you just have to tip your cap and say "well played". If that's the only type of goal we allow I'll be more than happy with our defense.

The third was Danny Wilson losing his man on a corner, but some credit to the Minnesota attacker here. Danny has him marked pretty well until the attacker runs him into a scrum and uses it as a pick to get free. The ball was placed perfectly to take advantage of the pick. We should do better, but it wasn't a complete breakdown.
