its a shitty habit of Nagelsmann tbh.
Last season he had Pavard, Stanisic and Sarr make constant squads.....why the frick do you need 3 RBs in matchday squads? Sarr should have been dropped for a young player. At least Average Pavard and Stanisic can play mutiple positions. More cringe is how bunch of times, Nagelsmann made Sarr captain, LMAO.

now doing it again with Mazra taking Sarr spot and on top on that wasting a spot on average Zirkzee.....who is leaving, lol.

Players like Wanner/Vidovic (assuming no loan)/Copado should get integration but will Nagelsmann do it, who knows, drifts towards doubtful.

what's interesting is that Moting (in 2023), Muller (when contract is up in 2024), Coman/Sane (depends on if unhappy) could potentially leave in next 1-2 years. Hope their spots get taken by some German kids.

 

but thing is Karius was never a world class prospect GK. I always put him in same boat as Leno/Trapp region. Although don't rate Leno tbh. Not surprising that both Karius/Leno failed to make it at Arsenal (125 caps)/Liverpool (49 caps) long term. Main issue with both is how often they make blunders/not safe GKs. Trapp also failed at PSG (91 caps). All 3 managed to become #1 but couldn't do it long term aka last more than 3 seasons. Still 50-125 caps for top clubs in non-Germany is still decent to good run.

Shows that they have good potential but NOT Elite.
Baumann, Ortega etc also in same boat as them.

I'm not sure where I would put Nubel tbh. Has a lot of potential but I don't watch Ligue 1. So can't really acess his current level. Will be curious if he really does succeed Neuer at Bayern or not. Do hope Monaco makes CL next season, would be good for his dev.

no point for Karius to go to be 3rd GK, 3rd GKs is for young GKs not vastly exp GKs. Union Berlin doesn't need GKs. Hertha on other hand, they need someone.

I really want a new wave of young GKs to breakthroughs. Its boring that its same batch of GKs. And that Nubel/F.Muller still last ones. Dahmen and Grill have potential but wasting on bench. Fruchlt/Mantl breakingthrough Austria but that's NOT top 5 leagues.

 

Raum making Plastic Debut and 4 Germans in XI (+Orban/Kampl). Once Werner transfers will be 5 in XI.

Raum also drove out Spaniard Angelino, LULZ. Bench GK Martinez left in Summer so now Olmo is last Spaniard left. Just funny how most Spanish-Portuguese don't do that well in Germany.

Son your not English, problem solved.....only got his English Passport 1 year prior to Germany return. So yeah Pengalnd was constantly calling up a player for years and years who couldn't play for them just so that Germany can't have him.....they can frick off.

Funny, take into account
1-This is 2nd year post U21 for these guys. All in 1BL except for Jenz last season but not all in XI but this season all look like XI too.
2-During Year 1 of U21 we had barely any CBs in 1BL, was like 3 that's it. So got TONS of shit for it too. LOL how one bitches in one year only to jump to 7. Shows people who bitch don't care about patience but like a child, NOW NOW NOW.
3-2/7=CL, 1/7=EL and 2/7=Conference League, that's 5/7 to play Europe.
4-I'm in the, don't think at this anything will come NT wise ONLY when it comes from Baumgartl, Anton, Kempf, Stark, Uduokhai, Torunarigha, K.Schlotterbeck etc aka the 97 and older CBs who aren't part of NT. Feels like most of those dev=got screwed by injuries. Its a shame as Kempf, Stark, Torunarigha, showed a lot of potential but always injured, long history of injuries too.

 

Draxler is still better.

he'll never get hype simply for being German. No German's ever gonna get massive hype as media narratives are mostly controlled by English or Spanish. I'm sure Haaland hype will grow exponentially while in England.
