Yesterday for his first official game in cup, he scored an extra-time freekick that helped Freiburg win against 2nd division side Kaiserslautern. The day before, PSV defeated Ajax 3-5 at the Amsterdam Arena, granting them the Supercup title.
Scored again. The 3-2 winner over Leverkusen. He is playing soooo great. Allready has 3 goals for Freiburg and is leading the league with 12 points before Bayern and Dortmund.
Imagine we would have a Nakajima in his prime on the left. Furuhashi(Minamino) Nakajima(Mitoma)-Kamada-Doan(Ito/Maeda) Sounds totaly deadly for me even in an international comparison. But also without Nakajima its very good from perspectives.
Assited the 1-0 today in Freiburgs 2-0 win in the Europa League. Very good game from Doan again. He played a very very good saison and gets sooo much praise from media, coach and commentators every game. At the moment he is one of the best players in the Bundesliga from ratings.
It's incredible. He had a bit of a rollercoaster career. I think he'll be in Qatar, but it's tough for him to get any minutes. I still believe that - whether he's right or wrong - Minamino, Mitoma, Ito and Kubo will be ahead of him.
Seems like but Japan has luxury problems. Every player you count on is also very good and in good shape. Maybe not Minamino and Mitoma is not playling that much. But Ito and Kubo playing also a very good season and Mitoma looks very pumped too. And Minamino will get his back so I think every player is okay to start no matter who. But Doan is place 2 in the Bundesliga with Freiburg, same points as place 1 and he is a sure starter. So its very good.
Next assist today in Freiburgs 2-2 draw vs Hertha BSC. And what a assit!!! Doan is such a joy to watch at Freiburg.

Guys, Doan played against Juventus in the last EL thursday and this thursday I bet he will start in the second leg.
He will start. He was a little ill and not fully fit. Streich didnt want to risk him. Doan was needing a little break, thats why he was on the bench and came in as a sub.
