Didn’t have an own goal by Guehi for first English goal scorer of the season.

With how Klopp is raging about the World Cup I do hope we don’t see players from his team missing the tournament with one month injuries.

And Southgate was Selhurst Park watching tonight so he would have seen it.

Mings and Coady both dropped from starting line ups which seems like it could be fairly critical for their world cup hopes

Coady wants to move which if he does would be to a club where he would expect to start and therefore will remain in contention. If he does not get a move then it could be difficult for him. Mings won’t make it unless there are injuries and even then it would only be Southgate deciding tournament experience over even being a club regular.

So James Ward - Prowse is the first English player to score a goal for his team (Rather than an own goal) in this season.

In that particular game you have 4 English starters for Chelsea and 5 for Everton. Counting players that were developed by the English system and you have 7 starting for Everton.

Five Subs will be a big benefit to him as it will allow him to be rotated on and off more than when they were three subs.

Sadly it is quite possibly season ending. Bad Ankle injuries are always horrible to see.

Good start to the season. Suits Conte’s team in that role. Interesting to follow his start with Perisic and him alternating that role.

I think he is one of the players who will be in contention come March but I can’t see him being called up before then.

What a dreadful game ... Just as feared
I tend to give any game with one these teams in a wide berth but we’ve been starved of football so I gave them a try

Hudson - Odoi might leave Chelsea to get more game time. Southampton, Leicester, Dortmund and Juventus all possible destinations. Hasn’t yet committed to switching to Ghana.

The Telegraph are saying Dier looks like he should be a shoe in for Southgate’s plans for the World Cup. If he is called up then who misses out those who got called up last time - Coady? White? Tomori?

I’d pair Dier up with Ben White as our two CBs.

Coast, White and Mings are all on shaky ground.

Southgate has backed himself into a corner over Coast and Mings now it seems like their clubs have dropped him before he did.

Soutgstr dropped Mings last time and didn’t give any hint it was a dropping for anything but form. I feel like he has been told he has been being phased out baring unforeseen factors.

Potter or Howe for sure ..

If lose the next two friendlies or play badly they should get Southgate out before the WC

Sancho is pretty much flawless on the ball but United just refuse to play through him.
