It’s always the side benefit of planning the WC trip through this kind of forums, I remember the famous “WC Brazil 2014…. I know it’s early” from trip advisor, opened when Spain was lifting the trophy in 2010. We even had t-shirts made with the name of the forum thread.
Ah yes ok. Yes - very good! I also liked some of the Mastercard commericals back in the 90s with Pele. Here's a couple of them:
I don’t believe its too risky (although level of risk aversion is subjective) if you’re using the Visa Click to Pay option and signing into your visa account. My fiancé lives in Mexico and we used my US visa card (through click to pay) to buy almost all our tickets in the international portal. I can’t imagine FIFA either seeking or gaining access to VISA’s database. I also have a domestic portal account using a legitimate Qatar address and phone number (I know someone there that couldn’t care less to go to the World Cup) and used Click to Pay to buy a CAT1 game there too - this one is a tad riskier but I think I’ll be fine.
The greater risk will probably be the Cat 4 tix. Seems like they've checked on occasion in previous tournaments. Of course, Brazil and Russia are a bit more lax. Qatar probably less so.
I agree with this….How hard would it be for them to have you scan your ticket and then your Hayya card? Seems like technology would at least progress some in the last 4 years..I have no information that this is the case, but seems like something they could do…
Messi back to his best, with 2 goals 1 assist for PSG tonight, one of them being a bicycle kick goal, his first ever in fact. It is Almost a guarantee Argentina will finish 1st in their group, with an 80% chance of making the semis, and 60% chance of winning the World Cup outright. Buy tickets accordingly, don't be scared by 'unpredictability of the World Cup' comments, Argentina's path is already set in stone, guaranteed to be via the "1C vs 2D" path. Argentina are an unstoppable machine and we also have the greatest sportsman of all-time.
I think you need to re-read my post. Televisa is a Mexican over-the-air TV network. The games were all on Mexican TV, pre-1982, and in other countries from 1966, when live satellite broadcasts started. But Canada was probably late to the party. Anyway, you can get more information by posting in the TV forum here in Big Soccer.
Match 61. Brazil-Argentina? Could be the match of the tournament. If you are going to be there, get your ticket when you can. But, we always see surprises, so who knows?
Not arguing about your opinion, but I love it when I see a probability thrown around like this hahaha 60%!! You could bet the house in a betting site. I see a once in a lifetime opportunity for you
Denmark (or any well organised and cold blood team) are dangerous for Argentina. If Argentina passes round 2, they will be in semi final. I dont see holland being as dangerous as Denmark
I would go by what the betting odds, where Argentina is paying 8 o 1 to win the WC which is an implied probability of slightly above 10%. Those are similar odds as England's and below France and in particular Brazil who's the favorite and pays 5 to 1 -implied probability of 17%. So it's not reasonable to be so bullish, we know in soccer luck is a big factor and we'll need it. Consider that in each knockout game Argentina won't be more than 70% favorite, so when you multiply the probabilities the overall is very low. Odds are showing has a 67% chance of finishing first in the group and 90% of qualifying. That's more useful information to decide what to tickets to buy. Question for Mexican fans in the forum. If you don't have the TST Mexico tickets and are looking to stay for the knockout phase, what tickets are you buying 1C or 2C?
What does once in a lifetime mean? No team has even a 20% chance by betting odds to win it, you could say that about anybody, no? BTW in my lifetime 2wc and 2 finals, not bad...
You're showing your age! In my lifetime you have 2wc and 3 finals, but do you have a Messi or Maradona?
Once in a lifetime chance of 60% of getting a 8 to 1 payout. Never I mentioned WC championships. Hahaha the "not ever I've met a humble argentinian" observation stands
Fair enough, my humility was lost. But it is a 8 to 1 probability, not 60% of 8 to 1. The other Argentinian was more bullish.
Maybe the resale portal is not the best way to get it. These tickets of KO stages are the most wanted ones and the buyers in general doesn’t want to resell. Maybe the TST tickets but it is not possible to resell its yet , just after the group matches when the teams will be decided. So you can wait the last minute sales phase , that it is very possible that these tickets will be available because the return of sponsors and federations and hospitality packages and after, during the tournament, when KO tickets will be available when conditional tickets and TST tickets will be released and also depending upon the teams that will remain in the WC. If you have the nerve to wait , it seems that these QFs will be available anytime, because it seems that the overall demand is not so high. And in this resale phase I saw some Lusail QF tickets available and I think the tickets for this match will be easier than others because the bigger capacity of the Lusail stadium.
Hey guys! Do you think I might be able to trade Ger-Spa for Arg-Sau or Arg-Pol in case i don't get them? I dont even bother asking for Arg-Mex because I know you will tell me probably not haha. Thanks!
I bought 2C. I'm also interested in getting 1C, not because I think we have a chance of winning the group, but because it'd be nice to see Messi
