Hopefully increases supply more than demand given it was sent to ticket holders but no broad announcement.... Probably wishful thinking
I wouldn’t be surprised if we see huge drops near the tournament. I think FIFA knows that people will get desperate and buy hospitality as a way to secure their tickets. (I ended up buying 2 for Arg v Isl in 2018). As we get close to the game I think FIFA will release any leftovers. Be patient and you’ll get the tickets that you need.
All these unsold tickets from FIFA for some of the games. I wonder what would be their strategy/solution to fill those seats? Recently for the Liverpool vs Man U exhibition match in thailand, the ticket prices were ridiculous. The stadiums were half empty. They finally made an announcement to give those tickets away for free. I wonder if that would be the same strategy here.
Al Janoub stadium really got the short end of the stick of games. 974 has arguably the best slate of the 40k stadiums.
But there weren't huge drops for that ARG-ISL game, so wouldn't expect for high in demand games. For that game I had bought through StubHub but the seller didn't deliver (probably because I had locked a lower price than last minute resale at the stadium) so I had to buy them at the stadium, but those were the times with paper tickets/easier unofficial resale. At the end StubHub returned my payment and gave me an additional stipend so not bad resolution but a word of caution about sellers not delivering to tickets bought at unofficial resale when demand spikes.
Al Janoub will be full of folks who are staying in the clusters/fan zones and would rather go watch a non-appealing game than staying in the accommodation doing nothing or waiting for a check-in.
Portugal vs Uruguay still has one disabled ticket available although they have Ronaldo (just kidding)
They’re randomly scheduled lol there’s a general idea of when drops will happen but it’s not exact. It’s random +/- a few minutes.
ive noticed a lot of the apartments i saved used to have the prices from "coming soon" now say nothing at all. wonder if something is gonna change. I know for a fact a lot of the apartments I favorited never have been on sale. I originally wanted our group to grab one of the Mushaireb apartments but they literally have never been for sale. We went with the nearby Al Doha Al Jeedah which was taken off the market at some point.
Guys I’m getting 2 different messages on two different tickets I put for resale. On the first one it says “your ticket has been resold”. On the other one it says “Your ticket is no longer valid”. And the subject of the mail received is also different. In first case it said, “ticket resale notification” on the second one it says “ ticket cancellation”. But the contents are same. Anyone getting the same message? Or is it just me
