Hey! Thanks for reaching out to us. To answer your question, at this time we will not be streaming this seasons Dutch Eredivisie. But please visit our schedule to watch thousands of other Live Events available on ESPN+. https://t.co/3itIeS8mIW— ESPN+ Help (@ESPNPlusHelp) July 29, 2022
Oh man.... That absolutely stinks. I'm hopeful someone picks it up. I mean Paramount+ shows some totally random, bizarre leagues. Other streaming services are desperate for any soccer. So SOMEONE should pick it up. If no one picks it up, guess it's time to get this IPTV.
Isnot there a Mexican/Spanish streaming service showing at least the PSV, Feyenoord and Ajax matches because of the Mexican players involved?
Yes, ESPN in Mexico carries the matches. Problem is that you cannot access those streams with a US IP address, you either need to go the VPN route or IPTV. Most of us were spoiled for the past four years as ESPN+ in the US has carried all the Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord matches. As I noted, there probably were fewer than 100 people watching these games. ESPN+ probably figured that they are overloaded with soccer and the Dutch games were the easiest to cut. EDIT: here are all the outlets carrying the Ajax game this Saturday: https://www.livesoccertv.com/match/4363609/fortuna-sittard-vs-ajax/ Nothing in the US.
But why cut the Dutch league and keep ones like Sweden and Belgium which are far inferior competitions? I don’t know… I’m still hopeful.
Guys I’ve been using Apollo Tv. Works like a charm. I recently saw PSV vs Monaco and it was a great stream from ESPN in the Netherlands. I’ll definitely recommend it for people in the US. You can even share your account and it’s about 160 for the whole year. My two cents.
Ihattaren is back training with the club on his own right now. Word is that management will have a sit down with him next week to map out plans for the season. He has not been assigned a team number. I honestly hope he can get things turned around but I am not counting on him in the senior team for the first half of this season.
Thanks for the suggestion. If I could replace the $5 and $8 that I pay monthly for Paramount+ and ESPN+, respectively, and pick up Apollo TV for about the same amount, I would do that in a heartbeat. One has to balance their desire to see Feyenoord, Ajax, and PSV in the Eredivisie against being able also to watch the Bundesliga and La Liga (ESPN+) or the Argentine, Brazilian, and Italian leagues in addition to the three UEFA competitions (Paramount+). Like someone stated above, ESPN+ carries one or two Swedish matches and a few Belgian matches each weekend, but now no Dutch matches. I think that the issue is with the KNVB and not ESPN+.
Shop around for IPTV providers. To start out with, only get a three month subscription to try it out as all IPTV providers will not refund your money (at least I've not seen any). I use Torpedo IPTV who are up in Calgary Canada. Since we don't have cable TV, I have been watching Better Call Saul on AMC through my IPTV. I have more than 10000 channels including lots of on demand stuff. It could be that the KNVB wants to charge ESPN US more money than they are willing to pay for broadcast rights, I don't know.
Was thinking that same thing. If anything, Ajax should pony it up if they are still concerned with building up anything in the American market like they were a few years ago.
I don't think KNVB controls TV rights for Eredivisie. It's up to the clubs/league. IMG does the selling for them: https://www.sportspromedia.com/news/eredivisie-img-overseas-tv-rights-sales-2025/ KNVB only owns the rights to the Cup/JCS... I think that's pretty standard, right? The FA owns Cup rights, the league/clubs run the league rights.
It would be beneficial to have a simple primer that one could consult, and it could be done without promoting any given brand. Am going to try this anyway this weekend. Will report if successful or not.
there are two ways to go about this. I chose the simplest one and use VLC video player to stream the IPTV feed. I got a stream link from the IPTV provider and it just gets pasted in when you 'open network stream' It takes about 30 seconds for the stream to open and you can access all the channels pretty easily. However, it's bare bones and does not provide any information other than the channel. There are also Android IPTV boxes that provide more functionality. They cost $30 to $50. I think that is how @Brilliant Dutch gets his feeds. there are lots of tutorials on how to set up VLC player and I've seen YouTube videos on the Android box tuners.
Yeah, I edited the above post that you copied after researching it via Google (as you suggested). I downloaded the VLC player since I have used it in the past and was able to find the MAC address. I sent a message to Torpedo and will see what I can see this weekend if they respond. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. We have to keep up interest in the Eredivisie in the USA!
They cost more then that, but they're well worth it. I have 3 set up on my yacht. One in the living room, one in the gym, and one in the bedroom. Most channels are 4K now so the broadcasts are amazing. I also have 3 different IPTV providers in case 1 or more ceases to exist. I have Torpedo, IP guys and Express IPTV. This works well because sometimes a channel will freeze or buffer too much, so I just connect to the 2nd or 3rd provider. This is the android box I have: https://www.amazon.com/Dreamlink-Formuler-Android-Gigabit-Magnetic/dp/B09DKJ9TQX/ref=sr_1_2?crid=294FBUDBLZ6A4&keywords=dreamlink+formula+z10+pro+max&qid=1659648545&sprefix=dreamlink+form,aps,108&sr=8-2 You can like O14 said hook it up to your PC as well using VLC media player. Once you have IPTV you'll wonder why you didnt get it sooner
I just renewed my Epxress IPTV today. 36 Euro for 3 months. I think they are located in UK or Israel somewhere. Great channel list: https://expressiptv.co/ But IP guys is the best. They got so many channels it makes my head spin. PPV like boxing or UFC fights as well

At least the rights broker is still trying to find a platform for this season...? https://worldsoccertalk.com/2022/08/04/eredivisie-games-leave-espn-plus/
