I don't understand why a team like Nacional can't find someone their rivals do. We have the financial ability and the reputation to bring a good striker and Duque will be a super sub

Nacional should make a push for Ricardo Márquez....

And I think they should hold off on getting a new coach till December and maybe consider Oscar Pareja from Orlando City...

I don't know about the new coach mate, we have libertadores next year. Starting with a new coach is a recipe for disaster.

I do want a good coach. Arriero is lovable, but the guy couldn't coach for crap.

Reinaldo could be a dream come true, however I think it is far fetched.

I went to Nacional - Patriotas on monday and it was a dread. God damn we play horrible. Patriotas is fighting to avoid relegation and they controlled parts of the game. Kevin Mier saved us big time on that game.

Couldn't see the game against Santa Fe (I refuse to pay for Win Sports), but according to twitter we keep sucking.

    Our future looks bleak.

Like who?? No one in the colombian league is a good # 9 that u can trust… only one is dayro moreno.. thats it… also i dont know why you say financial ability.. there is a diference between the OAL and the team… the team has to be self sufficient.. and in that regard they have mismanaged the $$

And we are out of the final 8th. As I said before our championship last semester was a fluke, this team has been playing like crap for years, however there seems to be a stronghold of players that never rotate. Jefferson Duque is horrible right now. He was good and gave us a lot of goals but the last few years has been a hinderance for us. He doesn't have the strength and endurance he had before but he still plays 90 minutes.

His only good thing was that he is a good penalty kicker, until yesterday. That was horrible to watch live together with the other 40k people in the stadium (this team doesn't deserve the support of his fans).

The season is over and I really really don't know what to expect next year. Duque was renovated (WHYYYYYYY) and we have Libertadores next year. I think it is going to be an embarrasment next year as we again we don't get out of the group stage.

    What a shame really.

    Don't worry about Nacional.

They will get some young gems from Envigado and other clubs and get better sooner than you think.

Thanks for the hope, but I really don't have many much left. Our signings the last few years have been somewhat lackluster.

If I am being honest, I would only leave Kevin Mier, "Turro" Olivera , and Sebastian Gomez.... Maybe Mantilla and Andres Róman. The rest can go enjoy play with Union Magdalena for all I care.

I wouldn't shed a tear for anyone else really. I do appreciate what they gave us in the past, but their present is mediocre to say the least. We never got to see if Tomas Angel is any good for the team because not one coach gave him minutes.

I really have no hope for the future with the current front office.

Started a little shakey... but he is now solid and he should continue. I haven't heard about offers from abroad or anything of the sort.

What’s going on with Mier will he be sold or going out on loan? Nacional just signed the gk who won last season plus they have another guy who got called up to the NT like 2 seasons ago. Place surely knows how to destroy gks

He still most likely will be the starting keep. Chippi chippi probably there to add pressure and a good alternative for league and copa libertadores

man since i have memory...this team is the worst national team I have ever seen, with a very poor squad, at least in terms of name recognition... The only standout player is Dorlan, while the rest of the team is very generic
