I heard that too, so they could kick off at 9:59 and play until 11:59 and that would be ok? Or they are done after 10pm?
Didn't the Guardians play earlier today? Would it really mess with people if they did a reair, if even a partial one? (Maybe MLB has some rule against that.)
The way I understand it is that if they begin play before 10, they're good. So for all we know, if they start at 9:42 and play 10 minutes, they could be delayed again until 10:13 and be good. In this case, they began before 10, did they not? A lot of concerts have curfews with exceptions for that final song that starts at 10:54 and ends at 11:04. If the curfew is midnight, how hard of a curfew are we looking at?
The teams have begun to consider using the late September international window for a makeup date. Saturday 9/24.
Sucks, looks like the storm is moving out, but may not be out in time to have lightening far enough away for 10PM start.
Sources are telling me the teams have begun to consider using the late September international window for a makeup date. Saturday 9/24.
FYI: Even if they DID consider just playing the match tomorrow, the forecast has the word "thunderstorms" in it in one form or another from 11 AM all the way through to 4 PM.
Bally Sports Great Lakes just had a visual of three VIP-types walking around the field. Some practice cones were set up, but those could have also been from before 6:30.

So much for that curfew. The panthers play at home the international break weekend, so tonight is the best chance to get this game in. Welcome to the league Charlotte.
