If we beat Lebanon, Bento should let Hwang return home instead of schlepping him to the meaningless match against Syria in Dubai.

Great hattrick. Specially 2 of the goals is typical Hwang. Great shots.

    Scores again!

But Bordeaux may go down, 8 games to go. However it feels like he should try a new adventure now. Bundesliga maybe? Im sure many clubs watch him.

Dead last in Ligue 1, wonder where he will go.

Great season by Hwang again though. 11 goals.

West Ham are interested in signing Son Heung-min’s South Korea team-mate Hwang Ui-jo, according to a report, and the centre-forward could be available for a ‘bargain’ price.

Hwang left South Korea in July 2017 to join Japanese side Gamba Osaka. He found the net 31 times in 71 matches for the club, as well as registering seven assists.

French team Bordeaux came in for him in summer 2019. They brought him to Europe by paying Gamba Osaka £1.8million, as per transfermarkt.

Hwang struggled during his first season in Ligue 1. Just six goals came his way in all competitions.

But the attacker has got double figures in each of the last two years, scoring 12 times in the 2020-21 campaign and then 11 times last season.

PL is not a good fit for HUJ. Better to stay in Ligue 1 or move back to J League.

For me, the main thing is that he gets regular playing time till Nov (but obviously not in Ligue 3.) In addition to his game not being very suited to the rough and tumble PL, chances are that he will be warming the bench there. No thank you. Top nexus of guaranteed playing time and quality of league lies with Ligue 1 and J League where he has already proven himself.

So there is nothing between Ligue 1 and MLS or J league for him?
I dont think that he is that stupid that he leaves Europe now.

Obviously WHU should be a great experience for HUJ whether he gets some significant playing time or not, considering his age.

Bordeaux will remain at the 2nd division of the French football league.
HUJ will still have to find a new club at the top level anyway.

This is old news though. And I think west ham will go for another striker. Something should happen soon though.

Nothing. Really weird. Leagues are starting now.

He actually featured in the first game of the season. From the bench .
