You lot are reading way too much into this. Vlahovic and Bonucci are starters, and neither one has appeared.
I can Confirm one thing - McKennie did NOT come into camp out of shape or “chunky.” In fact, the opposite occurred. McKennie said he worked hard to stay fit in off season, and has come into camp in his best shape. He said some players did not recognize him, but quickly quipped that they all recognized him, because how can one not recognize Wes and that hair. I’ll try to find the interview link and post, it came out recently…. Edit: here is the quote: "My goal was to come back here and be fit, not to get fit, so I did a lot of training over the summer and most of the people when I came back here didn't recognize me." It’s in the goal.com article that just came out on him
I was contemplating flying in for the game. Glad I didn’t because I would have been pretty annoyed about it (Rose bowl it is). The first half was great, Di Maria and Pogba looked fantastic. Throw Wes in there with Loca and Pogba and Vlahovic (who didn’t play either) and I am feeling pretty good about this season.
It was a waste of two hours of my time ... that is embarrassing. This is YA and I expected Wes to have played in the US for Juve. It would have been fun to have seen DiMaria and Pogba and Wes play together for at least 15 minutes. But given most of the fans in attendance were there for Chivas - perhaps Allegri did Wes a favor. Or Wes is pretty fit already and Allegri wanted the 90 mins to help get others match fit due to first league game in 3 weeks. We shall see.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, this is nothing to worry about: "Scheduled rest for Bonucci, Vlahovic and McKennie, depending on the type of preparation that has been made: the seasonal debut for them will come in the next games."
Would prefer to see him play against Barca and RM too... but you have to think that there were at least a few people that bought tickets for that game to see Wes play. Scheduled rest? Wasn't this the 1st friendly?
Given that he subbed the whole team at halftime - it seemed more like the coach’s plan to give different groups 45 minutes. I don’t think anyone thinks Kean is a starter.

Paul Pogba has won a World Cup, and is supremely talented. What player has gone United and improved their play or image since Sir Alex left?
Pogba is fluent in half a dozen languages. Maybe he can help Wes improve his Italian. Polyglots get the point of languages and can explain tricks to accelerate your learning curve.
Yep. If you watched, you'd have seen Fernandes drained of his demonstrable ManU abilities by the presence of Ronaldo, just as happens when the two play together on the Portugal national team.
You can hear Wes showing off some of his conversational Italian. McKennie vs Vlahovic vs Allegri corner-kick challenge😤⚽️[📹 @juventusfc] pic.twitter.com/yAldmwvg9U— Bianconeri Zone (@BianconeriZone) July 24, 2022
