OUR HEROES CONVINCINGLY DEFEATED THEIR RIVALS, ONCE AGAIN ASSERTING THEIR DOMINANCE IN THE STATE. THE SAGE AND GAOCHO ARE A FORCE THAT CAN NOT BE STOPPED, COMBINING THEIR POWERS IN WAYS THAT THE MINIONS OF E.V.I.L. ARE INCAPABLE OF COUNTERING. A SEASON THAT LOOKED LOST IS NOW SEEMINGLY BACK ON FOR GLORY. OUR YELLOW CLAD HEROES STAY IN THE CAPITAL, WITH THEIR CITIZENS IN FULL VOICE AND BELIEF, UNITED AS ONE. ALL DOUBT HAS BEEN CAST ASIDE. HOPE AND JOY ARE ONCE AGAIN SPRINGING FROM THE HEARTS OF ALL. THIS TIME, THEY ARE AGAINST THE LEADER WHO HAS TORMENTED THEM THE LONGEST, ALONG WITH HIS BUNCH OF REVOLUTIONARIES. CAN THE MOMENTUM CONTINUE FOR OUR HEROES??
Eric Gehrig said he’d be in town this weekend. Heard I will probably get boo'ed... https://t.co/wL38qpLBEt— Eric Gehrig (@eGehrig16) July 19, 2022

What a shame Bruce is here one week too early otherwise he could go to the state fair and see all our butter sculptures.
As one of the small cross section of maybe 10 people who were at that 2002 US Open Cup match, and who posted regularly back then as well as now on this godforsaken website, I will reward anyone from this board financially who sends me one of those shirts instead of giving it to Goodwill.
I choose not to cast blame, but instead lift up Crew96Fan as one of the most genuinely likable persons I have met in over a quarter century of Crew fandom.
As someone who was there in 2002 and posted regularly here at that time as well, if I am able to get one, I will send it to you.
We are up to 5th on PPG. Seed, Team, PTS/GP 1. Philly, 39/21 2. NYC, 38/20 3. NYRB, 33/21 4. MTL, 32/20 5. ORL, 30/21 6. Crew, 29/20 Schedule: NYC v Mia Crew v NE Orl v Philly (someone drops points) DC v MTL Austin v NYRB (Sunday) I am not looking behind us.
I'm rooting for; Crew win obviously A DC upset of MTL A Philly win over ORL. Red Bull tie with the Broccoli's That Puts the Crew in 4th nipping at the Reb Bull heals.
Was there that cold, windy night in October of 2002. (Really dug the grey 3rd kits we had that season.) Was a mere lurker of BS. I'm reserving judgment until I see it in person, but, based on the image, not sure I dig the shirt.
I was one of the ten people there that night, so I'll take a shirt if I can get one. As for the current contest, this seems like another weekend where everything is setting up perfectly for us. Cucho is out of his mind, Room seems to be getting his mojo back, Lucas is dishing out magic as well as getting off the Schneid, and we'll be at home facing an opponent that's not exactly humming. But I'm still uneasy with assuming this will go smoothly. As much as we dominated this one, we still didn't put it away until late, and, let's face it -- improved as they are, it was Cincy. I'm not thrilled with the idea of playing a wounded animal led by Bruce Arena. On paper, this is one we should get. But, it's MLS, so I'm grimacing a bit as I type it.
