The 21/22 season was Fiorentina's best in a long time. This thread is for discussing possible transfers that will hopefully strengthen Viola's squad for next season.

    Current squad:

GK: Terracciano, Drągowski & Rosati (expiring contract)

    LB: Biraghi & Terzić

CB: Milenković, Igor, Martínez Quarta & Nastasić

    RB: Odriozola (loan) & Venuti

CM: Torreira (loan), Bonaventura (expiring contract), Castrovilli, Duncan, Amrabat, Maleh, Pulgar & Benassi

AM: González, Sottil, Ikoné, Callejón (expiring contract) & Saponara (expiring contract)

FW: Cabral, Piątek (loan), Kouamé & Kokorin

Drągowski and Rosati will probably leave. Might get Vicario from Cagliari in. Fullback positions need improvements. Milenković is on his last year, so might sell him. Don't think Odrio will be permanent. Torreira is sadly confirmed to leave. Not sure about Jack. Pulgar and Benassi might get sold if Italiano doesn't want them. Callejón should move on, while Saponara might renew. Piątek...I don't know, maybe he'll be permanent. I'm ok with that. Kouamé and Kokorin aren't needed here, the latter one especially. He can't be all that happy with the lack of playing time?

As Odriozola will return to Real, 23-year-old Dodô of Shakhtar Donetsk might be on his way here. Hope we finally get the RB position right. Also, I think Saponara & Bonaventura will renew.

26-year-old Austrian defensive midfielder Florian Grillitsch is close to signing for Fiorentina as a free agent. He previously played for Werder Bremen and Hoffenheim. I really like this transfer. I remember that he was the man of the match in Euro 2020 against Ukraine.

Luka Jović on loan from Real Madrid? Why not? Hope he can get close to his 18-19 form again. If not, we have Cabral who is still adapting to Serie A.

    Incoming transfers:

    Pierluigi Gollini
    Dodô (almost)
    Rolando Mandragora
    Luka Jović

Which means that Vicario and Grillitsch are out of the question.
