Wonder if we see the same lineup that started against Columbus. Guessing that Hopkins starts again on the right. I wouldn't mind seeing TKDP lined up next to Durkin. Unfortunately we'll probably see Skundrich again. Also wouldn't be surprised to see K. Smith instead of Robertha based on Wednesday's game. The only interesting thing in this (again) lost season is that bench players, especially younger ones, will get a run out under Rooney to assess their value going forward.

    I thought Smith was injured.

That's Brad Smith (left wingback), not Kimarni Smith.

I watched the highlights for Minnesota's game against SKC and I'm cautiously optimistic. SKC was so unbelievably bad, I mean revoltingly bad, maybe even worse than us, and Minnesota still only got a draw at home off the back of an own goal.

Does anyone know Martin Rodriguez's availability for this match or moving forward. Haven't read anything about him lately.

Sometime next year, the interns lost his paperwork.

Unfortunately we're usually the cure for an ailing attack.

No Taxi today for precautionary reasons (probably due to whatever happened in the 1st half Wednesday).

Najar playing in the midfield. Durkin as a right back. Kimarni Smith getting a deserved start. I'm afraid Djeffal/Skundrich will get overrun.

    so ... we're trotting out a 4-2-3-1 formation - apparently Rooney's favorite

Four Defenders - I'd prefer Pines in there, but maybe this is an audition for Guediri

Two DMs - obviously we would prefer Canouse in there somewhere - this could be brutal -

Forward - Estrada - sure - why not?

outside Mids - Najar is a really good choice

but the Center Mid will have to put up with a pounding from their Defense - Hopkins? - I hope he can survive

Taxi isn't the old forward miss on that sheet. Did I miss something about Karmara?

    Ad-hoc!

Is the sound I made when I saw this lineup. Should be interesting.

Hopkins is a big boy, he will give as good as he gets.

Woof to that lineup. It’s ok, though, I wasn’t expecting anything from this match anyway.
I don’t like moving Hopkins again, let the kid get comfortable. Hopefully Andy gets to play in the middle, freedom to go crazy in there.

I imagine they'd be lining up interns as starters if Losada was still here.

I count two "regular" starters in this lineup. Guess which ones!

I seem to recall Andy playing right side midfield when he first joined the team all those years ago.

I think Hopkins will be fine. It's the defense that I worry most about. I like that they're trying new things

You have a really strict definition of "regular" for there to only be two regular starters in tonight's lineup.

Game on. United in white shirts and dark shorts still does not feel right.

That was some bad defending all across the backline even with the decent pass.

    We’re cooked, 13’.

Smart to have Durkin in defense and Najar in the midfield…

That blown free header certainly came back to haunt us quickly

Durkin at RB is...off to a shaky start.
