I'm not making excuses but we played the #1 Team in the League and lost on the road after playing an emotional home game on short rest. We're a middle table team at best that's rebuilding with a first year coach. While I'd love to see us win every game you gotta be realistic.
we handle set pieces poorly both directions in terms of offense are we aware HH took a lot of the longer "swerved service" type free kicks for atleti in terms of defense i see it as a function of zonal marking and our inexplicable general affection for shrimpy semi skilled slow players with no ups

"rebuilding" is a myth. "already unsuccessfully rebuilt" is the truth. i counted it up -- roster thread -- and out of 30 slots we have made 21 player decisions, sign, option, purchase option, etc. 6/11 starters were new decisions or signings. all 5 subs were new decisions. ferreira who went unsubbed is also new. the myth is we are carrying deals when a small amount of players we actually dress were carried contracts. 5 people. we had many options, draft picks, extensions, etc., but those were choices pat made and not jordan residue he had no choice about. the few jordan players he is "stuck with" would be like memo vera hadebe adam parker. some of the others don't even dress eg valentin. after we put on HH they took a lead that widened rather than shrinked. again, pretty switches and balls forward, but fafa or junqua would get the ball and nothing from it.
This year we got a new owner, new GM, and a new coach and you're complaining nonstop. Have we made improvements over last year? YES! Is there room to improve? YES! Do I expect that to happen in one year (or in your case 1/2 season)? No. Write me a novel on how you disagree but I don't share your negative dislike for everything Dynamo.
I don't know how much better the Dynamo is this year over last. But what is important to me is that they are now trying. I never expected much out of this year -- to much foundational stuff needs to be put in place. A better Academy which Tab actually helped get moving in right direction. Scouting network. Only after you can smartly scout can you start making the signings you really need. In the meantime you don't stand still. You try. And they are. I say Bravo.
I do believe brighter days are ahead of all of us, our club. This time last year, certainly back in 2019, I did not even want to contemplate where our club was headed.
