It buys them time for more accommodations to come on line. So for the short term, they are happy... pretty sure they will release more to the international side later on. In the meantime, some folks will buy up some of the less demanded matches...

Yeah and they will only get better closer and closer. As well as the tickets situation I guess.

 

It is possible to buy match hospitality tickets without accommodations at a premium of about 4x. (For anyone who missed out on a particular high demand game, like Arg Mex). I'm wondering if hospitality is also seeing a run on those.

 

I did hospitality for MX GER last cup and figured it would be my break in case of emergency for MX ARG. But it’s been sold out since the game was announced.

 

arg - mex hospitality has been gone for a while. But nothing says they cant add more.

 

Just got Opening Match category 2 as an Ecuador Supporter, there is a red warning saying Currently Unavailable but drop down is activated and lets you select and pay. So I'm confirmed.

There's two options. The one you saw was unavailable was the regular tickets. The available option was Ecuador Supporter.

That's how I got the Mexico vs Argentina tickets. All categories were still available through supporters option when I got through the queue but only category 2 was available for no supporter tickets.

 

At the moment i only have one account. However i wanted to buy tickets to both the 1800 and 2200 matches on the final group matchday, 2nd December. It rejected me as it said incompatible. Considering there is no extra time in those matches a think a 2 hour plus window is more than enough to go from Education City (M46) to Stadium 974(M47).

Is someone able to advise how to work around this? If i set up a new FIFA account with a different email address then this could be ok but wont it reject me as being the main applicant on two different ticket applications?

Any help appreciated.

I bought two games for that same day in today's portal.

Set up the second account, FIFA does not do any cross check. One of mine uses my middle name but passport # is the same - doesn't matter. My Hayya is already sorted, I just needed the extra game ticket so it might as well be for Mickey Mouse.

 

Nevermind, just got MEX conditional R16 so I'm good.

So my M57,M58,M61 and M62 are on the trading block.

You will need to change a few things eg passport number, date of birth (make a small mistake), New email as well obviously.

I did Education City to 974 during the Arab Cup from final whistle to anthems in less than an hour using the metro. It will take longer for the World Cup but easily doable.

I set up an account for Mrs. Regularguy and purchased a ticket for a 10:00 pm game on a date that I have a 6:00 pm. game.

I've never been to a world cup but the advice that I received here several weeks ago is that this should be ok because they will likely not check the name on the ticket. There seems to be some question whether I will be able to log in as her in the app if I've logged in using the same device as me. Some seem to think it will be safest to bring two phones, which is what I'm going to do.

People seem pretty convinced that the ticket will work even if she is home and never signed up for accommodations or a Hayya card. I'm a little bit concerned about it all, but everyone seems to think it will be no problem and if nothing else we should have some first hand reports before my games.
