Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

I understand and you may be right. It just seems that we all may be disappointed by this FCFS. It has happened in the past.

 

Hi,

for the ones who bought tix during 1st FCFS with guest ticket. What is the best strategy to navigate this thing ?

do they always require guest name for all the tickets or do they have system saved ?

for example if I buy match-1 3 tickrt and enter 2 names my brother and sister. Do I need to enter the name of those people again if I buy match-2 for example ?

or if we already login into or account they have the previous lottery guest name saved and automatically pulled there ?

No, you don't need to enter their names again.

Don't worry, once you pass the queue you will have a plenty of time to do whatever you want at the portal.

 

Has anyone got any experience of, or know if you can link a team FA ticket purchase with a FIFA FCFS purchase using the ticket/fan ID? Going for wales tickets this week, unsure as to whether I get one in the FA sale or FIFA sale, trying to make sure I can be in wales section?

You see the numbers in the URL. Just change the last 3 numbers.
Opening game would be 101437163855.
Final game would be 101437163918.

 

I just realized if someone doesnt have semi & final ticket. We are not be able to book accommodation on those days. Is that correct ?

 

No Finals tickets are absolutely possible but no SF tickets would extreeeemely suprising. One of the easiest tickets to get, normally.

 

No, any match ticket gets you accommodations and Hayya

 

They cannot be linked as the Football Association blocks are different. If you buy in the public sale your tickets are considered neutral and you can wear whatever colours you wish. Segregation at big tournaments is not like football matches in the UK.

If you have access to tickets via your own Football Association this is normally the best way to buy.

 

If you select Wales as the team you follow; typically FIFA will try to put you with a group of similar fans. It all depends on the category. It used to be cat 3 corner flag was for FA supporters. Then in became behind the goal. Who knows where it’ll be this time since just about everything is Cat1. Behind the goal is now cat3 and anyone can purchase.

 

Thanks. You are 100% right. I cant even book a group stage now. I have only booked 11 nights under 4 different booking for all just 1 room. I dont know if that matters.

ive tried the links provided in the last few pages and just get a generic www.fifa.com/tickets that lets me login but doesn’t let me really select or see anything or shows me a status bar and tells me almost there, but doesnt let me do anything

 

Hi all - I signed in 30 mins late for the last FCFS and didn't score any of the Argentina group games - which is all I need! So tickets go on sale tomorrow 12pm Doha time, which is 5am for me. What is the strategy - any difference between starting to try logging in at 4:55am, or should I be up and caffeinated much earlier?! I have to do it right this time!

Someone in the forum mentionned it, but no one else confirmed it:
A partial application is useful to use tomorrow in the FCFS, as the guest names are here and we won't need to waste time and add them again.
Can anyone remember how it worked in the march FCFS ?

 

I've seen different people write different things, but my experience was that I wrote the guest information one time for the first match in the purchase process and from then on it was available in a drop down menu when buying further guest tickets, so you didn't have to write it all again.

 

Yes that is sure, when you add them for one game, you don't have to add them again.
My question was if we can even avoid to waste time and write the guest names as we have already added them for the previous ballot in April.

 

Also you can write in blabla and change it later.

Question for everyone, do you have to log in before entering the queue? Or do you enter, it lets you in, then you log in to your fifa account?

Also when I log in I can't find the "mytickets" section, or where FCFS would be? Is it just as simple as clicking for apply for tickets when it's about to open tomorrow?

NVM, found this once looking at " my ticket application": Once the new sales period opens you will be able to access again your ticketing account.

 

Right now it says please check your browser allow cookies and then restart it. Im using Safari. But I am allowing cookies through my phone settings

 

So basically see the official schedule from fifa, then adjust the number on that link
