Not on field related, but... I'm not sure how much they are inflating the numbers, if at all, but it's interesting to see this will be the 8th straight match for RSL with over 20k tickets sold and that their average attendance for the season is over 20k. The Crew, new stadium and all, only one year removed from an MLS Cup sits over 1000 behind them on average attendance with roughly the same capacity stadiums.
As these things always seem to go, when a player has been badmouthed ten ways to Tuesday on BS he comes out and has a career game which shuts everyone up. I figure it's Kevin Molinos time.
I stand corrected -- both teams at 17 points after 14 games. However, after 15 games, I expect the '16 Orlando powerhouse to have the edge.
This is crazy. Molino just returned from a long injury spell with an appearance last Saturday. He was just not meant to play for The Crew, period. 11 appearances in two seasons. It's a shame, he had some really good years for Orlando City and Minnesota United. I wonder if Minnesota figured his career was done when they did not renew his contract? What kind of due diligence was done by The Crew?
Haven't seen anything official, but some chatter on Twitter seems to indicate that Mensah is back tonight.
One thing from yesterday's open training: Good to see Jonathan Mensah back from a scary head injury.Caleb Porter said Mensah had stitches removed from his head and didn't train for 10 days, which is why he was out last game. Should be good for Saturday. #Crew96— Jacob Myers (@_jcmyers) June 22, 2022
Overall the six-part series is not entirely great. The final episode is certainly the high point, in my opinion. I appreciated McGregor’s portrayal of Obi-Wan (character growth, interactions, and again swoon). Something seemed “off” the whole series. Not sure I could pinpoint the exact “issue,” merely an observation. Worth watching for sci-fi fans.
It was the way everything was executed/directed (that forest chase was just... there's no coming back from that), it was the lack of budget, it was the poorly written characters, etc. I was hoping Mandolorian/Rogue One but got Book of Boba Fett/Last Jedi instead.
4-3-3 ——Igbekeme—-Berry—-Diaz ——-Nagbe—-Zawadzki—-Morris Santos—Degenek—Mensah—Moreira ————————Room JRR, Farsi, and Matan on the bench, among others.
No, Zawadzki is a DM/CM. Igbekeme is a CM/LW. I hate him on the wing, but Porter has played him there three or four times now, drives me crazy.
lol Well, Mando's story took over for a couple episodes, but the Boba Fett parts were just... underwhelming. I never cared for the character in the first place.
The second episode of book of boba was a great standalone episode. What's not great is Matan being on the bench.
