We have no need for more LWs in this team. What we need are RW and CF. Take any rumour linking us with a LW with a pinch of salt especially ones who are nearing 30 years old

Son is a great player i would have liked to see him at Real Madrid but hé likes the left wing liké Vini and Hazard.

You’re going to need midfield depth if you lose Modric and/or Kroos after next season. You could do a whole lot worse, and clearly the manager values the player.

 

James wasn't playing backup under Carlo. Dybala wouldn't be the main player here, but he wouldn't be backup either.

Except nationality they have nothing in common. Saviola was a poacher and a mediocre one, while Dybala is a creative player who is a big name in the game.

with the news that Odriozola will stay in the team ,Lucas will be moved back to right winger and even if Asensio leaves new right winger is unlikely to be signed.

In a 4-3-3 he would play on the right wing, in a 4-3-1-2 behind the forwards.

 

Modric moved to madrid at age 26. 27 to 33, that is 6 years. He has been the best midfielder at times in a team that has kdb. I dont see any other midfielder at that level at the moment

 

Technical players don't have to be athletic all the time, their skill gives them longevity. Plus we have enough "athletic" players already in this team. What we need is a creator and unless we get a RW who can beat players, we go into the season once again relying on a 36 yo modric, 34 yo benzema and vini. As we have already seen, one injury to any one of these and the goals dry up.

We already have a player at RW who can "beat players", Rodrygo has shown already he's more than capable in that aspect

I've seen Rodrygo go pass players on the right and the left, he's just not as explosive as Vin, but everyone can't be the same, he just needs to be more involved and decisive in games when he starts, hopefully he'll get there but the OP was about going pass or "beating" players, he can surely do that, on both wings IMO.
