Maybe we should save direct links (inventories) of games we want to purchase for when we have access to teh FCFS just to win more time. What do you think?
Is this an abandoned page? I couldn't find the link to get to it on fifa site but it's still up if you access it directly. Can't say anything about the data it's showing though. Comments?
Do you mean: https://fcfs-intl.fwc22.tickets.fifa.com/secure/selection/event/date/product/101397570845/lang/en
Im rooting for Canada to come in 2nd. I hold a Canadá TST7 and want them on that side of the bracket. and don’t get me started on how Canadian concacaf president turned a hex into an octagonal so Canada could be included in the competition after being eliminated from the Hex.. ok… Im going to stop now .
The Ocho was the single greatest name of a group ever tho. I am very sad we won't get qualifying next go round. I hate the stress of qualifying but love the atmosphere at the games. I don't harbor ill will towards Mexican or Canadian or Costa Rican fans. Just Ontario Canadians who use Buffalo outlet mall parking lots as dumpsters lol.
Not sure if I am I missing something here or not. One of the most popular matches - Argentina vs Mexico shows availability across all Categories: https://fcfs-intl.fwc22.tickets.fif...n/event/seat/performance/101437163878/lang/en
Don't think this is new. Pre-COVID days (remember those folks !), residents one Gulf country could visit another one using only their Residence permit. Maybe just planning to reinstate that.
do we think that these links showing the availability for each game will work for FCFS? date i saw online still says the 28th
I was also looking through some group round games today and for all I've seen all cat 1/2/3 available. I want to be optimistic and say that everything is gonna be sold based off the sales data posted earlier but FIFA very well could have reset everything before fcfs starts
I'm Peruvian and I am NOT dumping my tickets. My decision to go was independent of whether Peru would have qualified. Now I will support only my other team.
I think you are misunderstanding me: I have 1 ticket (Cat.1) for match 51 in one application (with my name on it), and 1 ticket (Cat.2) for the same match with another application number (with guest left blank). So I only have 1 extra seat.
You still have to queue and then log in the traditional way of course. The links (or knowing how to get there) are useful say in the heat of the moment a little way into FCFS when matches go off sale as the allocation sells out and the website starts to get a bit buggy, and then you have the direct page to refresh to cart the tickets as they come back in (eg. payment issues, time expiry of other carts), where the match may no longer in that moment be accessible from the main shop page. What is listed on there currently may have no meaning at all, but unless they hold back popular matches from sale (in order to sell less desireable matches) then there should be a huge amount of tickets available on FCFS day due to the silly ballot system and unpaid applications.
So 800k but I feel like there will loads returned from the 1.2 million sold. Many touts will return if the demand plummets and they cannot transfer their tickets to buyers. Also, 1 millio sponsor tickets?! Thats a lot, we should expect a lot of returns here as well..
I want to say 1 million is primarily “world body FIFA” whatever that means. It could be the allocations every federation gets including the non qualified ones. I’m sure they get an allocation as well. I got some tickets for 2018 that came from US Soccer. (Which didn’t qualify in 2018).
Exactly. Anyone experienced with last minute sales knows this is a really valuable advice when inventory runs low.
I heard that vip tickets are selling well. I would think this time we will have less returns from those 1m tickets. Dubai and Qatar are appealing for rich families, corporate, sponsors etc..
2014 I managed to get 8 cat4 tickets at 05h00 on the very day of the final. I had to call a bunch of friends at 05h00 until we grouped and left for Rio. Amazing experience . We arrived really late to the stadium. People were desperate offering 10000brl (~4500usd) for our 400brl tickets. When I was going through the final checkpoint at the stadium, I saw one argentinian guy leaving and he got my attention. He was talking to an official that he had to leave for a moment, all the way back over all the checkpoints, to deliver tickets to his friends that were outside. He had 10+ tickets in his hand. The following day I heard about a scam that people bought overpriced tickets by kick off time that simply didn't work, as they had already been used This is why I said earlier that this blockchain eticket thing can be even safer than paper tickets when buying from the secondary market.
Can you remember when was the first time Fifa used those automated ticket printing machines that read our credit cards? Was it in 2010?
