British. If it takes time any amount of time to get a visa, will just get a plane. Am getting to Doha the Saturday before everything starts so wont be the most expensive plane anyway.

In the same boat, unfortunately. From multiple devices as well. I have even considered uninstalling and reinstalling my browsers.

yepp, that link goes nowhere, maybe it works with his login and cookies

FIFA still hasn't posted official info when the next FCFS would start, it only says it is coming:

Karwa app seems to be the unique taxi app for Qatar from now on. Screenshot attached

One of the locals will confirm this, but I think that link is specifically about the Metroexpress ride sharing service that metro users can use to access certain areas around metro stations rather than for taxi services in general.

I think Uber and Careem are still operating.

I guess . But, entrance fees? That's a bit ridiculous for this sort of thing.

Regardless - pretty poor practice to not advise about the next stage a week before if it is to be the 28th.

The date will be advertised few minutes before the FCTS, this is the beauty of FIFA. Keep refreshing :p

Looks like fun. But still...kinda shitty that they charge so much for entrance. Its like paying just to enter a bar or restaurant.

Hope FIFA doesn't get any stupid ideas for their fan zones. They are one of the few ways locals can experience the world cup.

What are they waiting to announce whether it's on the 28th or 5th? It's a complete non-sense. I'm literally waiting on this announcement to decide whether I cancel a flight or not.

Content has been updated now to:

FIFA have informed the Football Association of Wales that ticket sales for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar have been pushed back by one week.

Tickets will now go on sale via the FIFA Ticketing Portal from 5 July.

The article and the 'Full Ticket Information' links have been updated on this page to reflect the changes.

Fifa is slowly updating their inventory since a few days ago. They are going to sell the cat3s I need :):):). Yesterday only had cat2s

In that link when you then click on Full Ticket Information, where it does also specify Wales tickets being sold from July 5th, also mentions on the last page "A general public sales window will be open from 28th June until 16th August.". Whether this is a typo that was not updated in the recent change, who knows (straw clutching ensues).

"FIFA delays ticket sales" is telling me they just got official notice of the date change.... i think they forgot to update that one date on that page.

Agree! Also I trust the Mexican source. But that one line on the Welsh PDF may give a glimmer of hope to those one or two people here that were busy on July 5th, or if the title were only specifying their own supporters tickets.

Messes up 4th of July. No beer and getting plenty of rest; but at least I don’t have to worry about missing my graduation :(

I dreamt about FCFS twice the past week. And now they change it to my graduation day. Even same opening hours. Crying from inside. Not sure what to do :cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
