This guy’s attitude is really next level. Ironically, if we had gotten Mbappay we wouldn’t have been able to afford the guy who truly wants to be here and fight for the badge. Glad the scheming cockblocking clown Mbappe helped us separate the wheat from the chaff. I love Tchouameni already.
Not sure we could have afforded Camavinga too if PSG had accepted 200 M bid for Mbapay last summer. That proved to be a blessing in disguise already with the impact Cama added to our midfield to beat PSG, Chelsea and City.
Sporting Director Mbappe..... lol! Better keep looking for those mercenaries to join you. That pool will get smaller soon too.
I know there’s a bit of lip service involved in these introductory press conferences but what I focused on more than the “biggest club in the world” lines in his confidence and belief in himself and being aware and accepting of the fact that he won’t get all the minutes. Wonderful attitude. Carlo didn’t promise him anything and yet he took it as a challenge, like I’ll become a starter on my own merit, bring it on. Love that.
Marcelo said Real Madrid taught him how to be a man, if Mbappe was giving a similar speech he'd be saying something like Neymar taught me how to look out for number 1. Mbappe doesn't fit the culture inside our dressing room, some of us worried about him being around mercenaries in the PSG locker room.
The truly good players with strong work ethics know that nothing is given at Real Madrid. Whether deliver on the promises they make are another matter. What I can't tolerate (and I believe I speak for all Madridistas in this case) is the lack of trying. Players like Asensio and Jovic really don't resonate with me because their lack of effort.
When he was reading his intro in Spanish, the camera cut to Florentino uttering the same words under his breath. I love that man.
Uruguayan coach Gustavo Poyet, who had launched 18-year old Tchouaméni as a professional in Bordeaux:: “Is Aurélien right to sign for Madrid instead of PSG? The one who made the mistake is Mbappé." pic.twitter.com/sMMurNhX2u— M•A•J (@Ultra_Suristic) June 15, 2022
Didn't really see people "shitting" on Tchouameni. More like, surprised cause a good portion probably never or barely ever saw him play and here we were splashing 100mil (80+20) on a young "DM". Mind you I know DM is not really an accurate description of his skills. All in all, I am excited after watching his highlights and seeing his stats, but I get why some people are cautious - especially cause overspending was seen as a possibly foolish "retaliation to save face" after the Mpaypay shtstorm. All in all looking forward to seeing Tchou play in our jersey. Seems like he brings a lot of interesting attributes to our midfield. His first presser with RM proves he is a total flirt. I mean, this guy said ALL the right things to enamour the fans, lol. Great start. I hope his passion for our club burns bright under all that professionalism.
Marca: Tchouameni was offered 12 million euros nett per season by Paris Saint-Germain, while at Real Madrid he would earn only 6-7 million euros.
I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow fall into our path again. My trucker hat might be having a shade of tinfoil or two here, but I never bought that "whoopsie, made a mistake guys" thing at the draw at all. I call bullshit on the final location as well. Clearly Paris was in no state to host any sort of final, but Ceferin had so much foam in his mouth from the Superleague fiasco im surprised they didn't just straight dress up in PSG warm-ups during the final.
Man, do you think we'll ever see the weasly Slovenian get chased off or imprisoned? I mean, Ceferin is as obviously corrupt as it gets. Does he really think that oil money is going to protect him forever? I hope he outlives his usefulness soon. That CL re-draw was as blatant as it gets. Just another reason why this year's run was so legendary. Gotta love it tho when Perez says that Real Madrid has no enemies, only friends. Man City, Chelsea, QSG - we're all friends. Lol

This guy is a crack. Has GOAT DM level talent. I mentioned this in another thread but there was a reason Casemiro decided to leave. It was seeing this kid in training and realizing there is no way he could possibly keep him out that starting lineup
.80 mil will end up being a Bargain for Tchou, he's only 22, potentially 10 years of him before we sell him to United for 120 mil.
Great game, he really stood out. Once he finds a bit more serenity on pitch, he will be a pillar. Plenty of time to get even better.

I knew we made the right choice when we signed him; he has all the physical attributes and natural talent to be a top DM/CM.
