The product on the field is just not all that compelling (for a variety of reasons, not least the opposition). I'm not saying we should look like prime Barça, but all this possession just means more of the frustrating unforced errors. Just seems like as soon as we get an edge, we have the letoff and start over

to me the LDT affection is people who want this to get more direct and technical but have misplaced who to do it with. and, yes, playing mckennie and the like will make you wish someone pushed the ball downfield and threaded a needle for a change. but LDT passing it sideways at the end isn't the droid you are looking for.
