Acosta has all the time in the world, he doesn't do that very often against teams that aren't USL level. He is a solid defensive mid who is often a liability in possession. This game won't show anything for anyone except for who shouldn't play.
i told people i would have packed the first choice in bubble wrap and sent them home after the 2 serious games. this is unnecessary wear and tear in a european break and an injury risk. you know all you need to know on the first choice. the second choice could probably handle this and get a result. US soccer ever since JK has gotten obsessed with squashing like a bug every opponent we play. rotation is necessary in tournaments, rest is needed for first choice, and at some point we need to figure out the point to some games like this is put out just good enough a team to get the result and rest the players you need for november. playing world cup starters or even anticipated subs in a game like this is asking for injuries.
