Well, the highlights seem to keep in line with the gameplan (3 CB but with Wass helping out on the right) and not 5 in a line. here is one more :

The Italy and Germany game was kinda boring. It ended 1-1 and both sides could’ve done better in front of goals. Italy changed 10 players but I do not think they were any better from our match. Germany was perhaps the better side.

  4. Baggio was moaning that Italy as reigning European champion should have been granted a spot in the world cup.
Sorry dude, you earn your spot by beating others that want that spot too. What's next? They should be granted a spot at Euro 2024 too?

Watching the 1st half of Saudi Arabia vs Colombia (without Diaz)

From this match, Saudi Arabia is playing in a 442/4231 playing a lot with wing play. They play with a high line, so we most likely won't expect a very defensive approach and they don't seem very disciplined in defense. They have strong and decent paced players, but they are not that great in possession. Very confident that our counter-press will give us a lot possession right after we lose ball.

Does chile will really get free ticket? FIFA should just setup a playoff between them and European champ if they wanna be fair.

Italy should not be considered at all. I mean, we will slap them around again but Italy should not be in the running.

Give it to Ecuador and that’s that. The Chileans and Colombians wanting to get to the World Cup like this is sad. Earn you spot. You had every chance. It is really that simple. Looking for some discrepancy is cheap.

Well, off course Italy dont deserve it, but Im talking in context of possibility for Chile getting the free ticket. They're less deserving.

In 1994 Chile gets suspended and it ended up making the second place of our group having to play Australia in play off . I mean if somehow they really try to eliminate Ecuador, then the 6th place should be playing somekind of play off like we did in 1994, not just getting free ticket.

That is what Peru is arguing. They are saying they should get the automatic birth and then it would be Chile playing v Australia. But Chile is arguing that he played in two of their matches. In essence, they should be given 5 points. These five points would mean, Chile go from 19 points to 24(Chile lost one of these matches and drew the other).I do not think he featured v Colombia, so Colombia would not get any points gifted to them.

It is a giant mess. Let Ecuador in and give the federation a fine.

Yeah let Ecuador in. This is a joke. If Fifa really feels the need to boot Ecuador though, then move Peru to group A and give Australia the group D spot.

On a somewhat related note, I like that we basically but the nail in the coffin of Chile & Colombia, & then Italy (though they were already dead). A huge difference from our past teams that might’ve tied or even lost these matches.

I hope not, it would be bad if a team that didn't earn their place got to go. If Ecuador does get eliminated from the WC, I hope FIFA gives that spot to Colombia. I know that Chile is arguing that they should be awarded pts from the qualifying, but they didn't earn the spot. They were a bad team this qualifying - much rather see Ecuador in the WC and if not, Colombia.

So, it is reported that Liverpool will play Benfica nearly a 100ME for Darwin Nunez? You know, a 22 year old South American forward… Just because he plays for Benfica…
