England will likely have to play France in the QF. That is if both France and England win their respected groups.

Portugal showed today they can dominate against a defensive side . Spain only beat Swiss by one measly goal when Portugal annilhated them.

As always, you should take the doctors advice. Portugal Campeón del mundo 2022

as a doctor, I recommend you eat healthy fish such as Portuguese bacalao. You will lose weight and be fitter for it . I’ve done it myself. You argentines eat too much red meat .

Lmao this troll account is growing on me. Fwiw Portugal has looked very stellar in the Nations League thus far. Looks like they’ll likely be winning their group.

Good I also recommend you try Portuguese piri piri chicken. The best chicken in the world. I recommend it to people as a doctor .

It’s not his fault that he played in a super team, at least he was a consistent performer and produced 3 great tournaments for Brazil (58, CA 59, WC 70)

Portugal has the talent to make a long run in the WC, but they are very inconsistent. Today's game against the Czechs is a perfect example....could have been (and should have been) 4-0 or 5-0.....ended up 2-0 and could have easily been 2-1 or even 2-2.

You never know what you're going to get with Portugal...look at how they choked away automatic qualification with that home loss to Serbia in the final match of qualifying.....

Portugal controlled the game. Czech is not a weak side and they play defensive which teams in commembol never do.

The fact is Portugal 2022 is the strongest World Cup side since Brazil 2002. Just as 20 years ago, the World Cup winner will be speaking Portuguese but it will be the original variety.

if things are going bad , it’s not hard for Fernando Santos to sub in more world class players .

And now we see a new super team
In Portugal. It’s been a pleasure watching them play so far in nations league and I saw improvement in the World Cup playoffs. I think Portugal
Going to the playoffs was a blessing in disguise for them.

    This team
Is so good. Most of their players play in massive clubs. And the fringe players play in respectable clubs at least such as Porto benfica or sporting lisbona.

they have played very proactive football. I really believe in their squad and team. They will be campéon

This Portugal side is also stronger than Spain was in 2010… it was a weak field that year. Compare a front attack of Ronaldo , Leao, jota, Felix, Guedes, Andre Silva, to …. David villa ?

  17. Okay, I put the doctor on ignore because he's waisting my time.

So, that was good practice for the WC o_O

Friendly reminder to all to keep it football (i.e. no resorting to ad hominem attacks) and keep it amicable (arguments are fine, trolling is not).

I mean, we are only halfway and they have a 2-point lead over Spain and a tougher remaining schedule. A bit of work to do yet....

Already played Spain away so I’d say their remaining schedule is easier.

In regards to Hungary, I read your exact words "Hungary had a better Euro" not sure how that's open for interpretation?

You keep referring to my "crystal ball" what kind of bold predictions have a made without claiming it's bold. In fact I haven't even made much predictions at all because I'm fully aware that no one really knows how things will transpire later this year.

As far as figuring out he's Portuguese, well good for you I guess. I mean many of us immediately knew who he was, but for someone who didn't, I guess it wouldn't have been very obvious so I'll give you credit. You are also definitely right that something is clearly wrong with him.

They play the same opponents, Spain has 2 at home and Portugal has 1 at home.
