Why would Jesus leave city's bench to join ours? I mean it's an upgrade but wouldn't he want to go somewhere to play?

appreciate what you have said and total agreed my point is that we never had a plan -b in place for mbappe , all our transfer plan was dependent on this mbappe transfer and this is without proper backup, generally we were all confident that Perez would have something like pre-agreement for the mbappe so that we would not backtrack but we were thoroughly exposed

Tchou was not in the plan until he got a big no from mbappe that where we lost whole plot for this season

Gabriel Jesus offers himself to Real Madrid. Ancelotti likes the player.

Benz is 34 so more chances of rotation here than at City with Haaland. City also signed Alvarez so they are crowded at CF. He could also compete with Rodrygo for RW spot. Remember Asensio played a lot there last season.

Alternative is clubs like Arsenal which would ensure he won't win much for the next 5 years of his contract.

Unlike other offers received, Gabriel Jesus is to the liking of Carlo Ancelotti and is not frowned upon within the Madrid entity. It must be remembered that at the time he signed with Manchester City, the Brazilian was close to joining Madrid while Bayern Munich made a strong bid to hire him from Germany. At that time the coach of the Bavarian team was none other than the current coach of Real Madrid.

The name of the center forward is one of those that has come out in the meetings held by Florentino Pérez, José Ángel Sánchez and Carlo Ancelotti himself. The option is being evaluated and, although there is no fixed decision regarding the signing of a nine, it is true that the Brazilian enters the list.

Even at 34 years old, Benzema is the best player in the world and will be a starter as often as possible. Don't forget Jovic & Mariano sill remains in the club, it's more crowed in CG at Real Madrid unlike Man City.

Jovic and Mariano aren't good enough to get minutes so it's a non factor. Jovic will leave on loan and no one cares if Mariano stays or goes. Jesus can also play across the attack. What's CG? ZZ started rotating Ronaldo when he was 32 because Morata was scoring goals. A bit of rotation will be good for Benz who's playing non stop with club and country.

Get him. He can play centrally or out wide, it's a no brainer for me.

I don’t mind Gab Jesus, he’s a very good player and he can do the job on the RW as well since he’s played there for CIty a lot.

Because he could easily make that RW position his. His only competition is developing Rodrygo. He will also get alot of time subbing in for Benz.

"The footballer's environment has sounded out Real Madrid and Atlético. He asks for 5 million net a year. Atleti has said 'no' outright for that price. Real Madrid likes it a lot," the journalist said. "He fits into what the club likes, he has an affordable price, his contract ends in 2023 and he is young, but there is a serious problem with the passports. Vinicius occupies a non-EU place because his passport is slower than expected,"

"It looks like Gabriel was not going to be the striker signing, but when the environment has called, Real Madrid has seemed marveled. Without Mbappé, the club does not want to get into the fight for Lewandowski and Gabriel would fit perfectly in the profile that is sought", Antón Meana saidregarding the feasibility of the operation.

On the Manchester City side, the club would have no problem facilitating the departure of a player who already asked to leave last season and whom they have covered with the signings of Erling Haaland and Julián Álvarez. The Brazilian soccer player has offered himself to the two clubs in the capital of Spain because he wants to play the World Cup in November yes or yes. Without minutes in Manchester, Tite can leave him out and that is not an option that is in his plans. The market keeps moving.

Jesus started 21 games for City which will be about as much as Asensio did here. If Rodrygo really makes that RW his own then Jesus will have made a mistake coming here if he wanted playing time if not he'll get plenty of it

Problem is he won't even get close to 21 there with Haaland and Alvarez coming in. Both sides want to move on. 2000 minutes Asensio got in La Liga and CL would be pretty good for him compared to City situation if he stays. Arsenal aren't in CL and haven't won titles for long so I reckon he doesn't want to go there despite getting to start every game.

Benzema started 31 La Liga games. If it's 26-27 next season, leaves Gab Jesus with over 1000 minutes at ST alone. Then there's potential rotation at RW.

Lol. I remember Messi getting express passport back in the day so that he could play in 2004-05.

worst case, leave him out until January window. With WC break in November, it will be felt less. Play him in CL.
not ideal, but if we can get him for good price...

I feel no way RM is gonna let administration get away with delay in Vini's passport for a second year. Would be ridiculous. How's that fair competition as well?

What you didn't hear? Only Barcelona gets favors like that.
I remember a controversy not long ago where they managed to register a player past deadline. (Messi got his Spanish citizenship late?)
Not to mention the shit they pulled with Braithwaite

Is this a joke or mistranslation? How expensive could administrative fees on an express passport possibly be, short of illegally bribing a government official?
