Some pretty good performances today. I can see why Greg was keeping Scally in the fringes now.

DLT makes this roster as a super sub……. But he wasn’t very super subby today. That was nine minutes of suck. Don’t be doing that if you want World Cup super sub minutes, or Busio to get your spot

Zimmerman impressive still gotta find his buddy though. I’ve seen enough of EPB. He has potential as a 6 but absolutely not our back line. I’m seriously considering wanting to bring Brooks back in, it’s been that uninspiring

as for number 9…….. Vasquez and JeBo need a look. We are at red alert status with the forwards

I dont want to seem too harsh, but I'm struggling to think of a worse USMNT debut(?) in recent history than Joe Scally today. I really wanted to see him but its very clear to me now he is nowhere near ready.

Majority of our locked-on starters had decent to good games so not too upset about the overall performance

I am stunned by the negativity by some. Would goals have been nice? Sure. But Uruguay's thinking the same thing.
The point is: If we got this result against Uruguay in group play we would be thrilled. I see our starters getting in tune and some fringe players getting evaluated. Nothing boring here for me.

For all the fans clamoring that Scally, EPB, and Wright were answers got to be sorely dissapointed.

    Scally just not there.
    EPB was clumsy.
But Wright? Good grief you only had to go 30 minutes. What a lack of energy.

Uruguay had no answer for Musah. As many of us have said we just hope Musah can learn to release the ball in the right moments.

Time for Beerholder to re-think the striker pool and get creative, we can’t go to bat with such trash like Ferreira and Haji Wright. I say Sargent gets one more shot in a friendly and if he sucks, you play with a false 9 in Qatar

I said Scally could make the 26 as a versatile fullback if he didn't crap the bed. But that was....not very good.

EPB didn't impress either, got caught a few times.

I know Aaronson is the hot button to plug in the midfield but I love Musah in the lineup. He just needs to release the ball a bit sooner.

Seemed like both teams weren't too enthused in another 45, which I understand.

I would like to see Haji with starters. Having Arriola do very little offensively to help him tells me nothing.

Scally was fine in the first half after the first 10 minutes. The second half didn't count for anyone.

I prefer EPB, maybe, to Long. Except for the last five minutes.

That one Johnson save was top class. Keeper question might not have a clear answer come November.

Big drop off going from Weah to Arriola, which is a shame, was hoping he and Ferreira would be able to bring their FCD form to the national team, unfortunately that hasn't been the case

Johnson’s feet are not great. Good save.
Scally was mostly playing a game in a parallel dimension— wonder how he did in that one?
Jesus can’t hold up well enough, so if he’s not finishing….
    Yedlin a real weak link.
Long’s passing beyond 10 yards is suspect.
Defensive shape and tracking really bad.
    Awful 2nd half.
EPB didn’t help his cause at all.
Arriola disappointing, but tracked back well.
    Wright was invisible.
Basically Gregg didn’t adjust much to changing tactics on the 2nd half. Not sure why.

Should have ended 0-2. Lots to work on.

Want to see more of LDLT with the A team.

I guess you have Scally colored glasses or at least didn't watch the same game I did.

Terrific tackler. Good passer. Doesn't have the speed to recover on mistakes, like Jedi. And he's 19, so he made mistakes.

I want to see Jordan Morris get a game as the #9....

Can't blame Haji Wright for anything today.....he didn't get any service....not sure he got a single touch in the box....

I’d rather see Miles Robinson on crutches in Qatar than anyone new from this cycle.

You watched a different game than me. I lost count of the number of passes he completed to Uruguayan players. And, I really do not know what he does well enough to warrant serious consideration for a spot on the plane to Qatar let alone a starting position.

Agree - thought he was one of the best defenders.

He made a mistake in the Morocco game against Hakimi but was able to recover and break up the play, so the speed isn't the entire issue.

I thought Scally was fine after the first ten minutes.....people are criticizing him like he's supposed to be the starter, but he's not. He's the backup LB, and in a perfect world, he probably doesn't play a single minute at the World Cup.

I thought Long was good. I'm more confident in him now though I still prefer Richards.

Too soon to say but even Freddy Krueger has nightmares of Scally trying to defend against Bale.

What did Wright do wrong? Did he get any chances to score?

Word. I think we were a bit lucky not to lose this one 1-0... but we had some chances too. The subs didn't inspire today... Aaronson was all right. But I think CP gassed out in the 2nd and had several poor touches/passes to ruin chances. At any rate... for those saying that Scally sucks? Hmm.. his 2nd appearance for the USMNT... 19 years old... facing Uruguay. Not an easy 1st day. What are the excuses for Yedlin? He gave away quite a few balls and his crosses should have been better IMO. Not a huge fan. Color me concerned with our depth at back. At any rate... a draw against the 13th ranked team in the world is a decent result. Especially considering how they smacked Mexico the other day. I will take it.

    Grades:
    Johnson - A
    Yedlin - C
Zimmerman - A- (one poor play in 90 that I can recall)
Long - B+ (only one half)
    Scally - C-
    Adams - B-
Musah - A- (just needs to learn to release the ball earlier and he may be all-world)
    Wes - B
    CP - B
    Ferreira - C
    Weah - A-

    Subs:
    EPB - C-
    Jedi - B+
    LDLT - B- (incomplete)
    Aaronson - B+
Wright - D+ (dude... did you even show up?)
