I dunno, i watched the Wales/Ukraine game today and I thought Twellman was brilliant, tactically good and knew when to shut up, and let the game flow

 

I get that they're playing their reserves, but any nation in the top 15 could probably field at least 2 full 11 "decent' teams.

Remember the gold cup final? we were fielding our B/C team against Mexico's A/B team and still won.

 

A year of moaning about Joe Scally not being called in is evaporating in 45 minutes.

Got to say Scally has been very poor. Really too bad I thought he could be a huge help.

well, to be fair, maybe if he had gotten into some camps earlier he wouldn't be pressing and so out of sorts.

 

Scally would have been a great fullback in a low-block system. when you're trying to be a high possession, high pressing team, you need one with a lot more recovery speed.

 

I'd like to see Weah move to CF with Ferriera and Pulisic behind him, so 4-3-2-1

Scally has been dreadful but Yedlin has had similar dreadful performances and has been called up, so lets give him more than one game
