Going to Qatar 2022: tickets, accommodations, etc. (non-politics)

2 out of 7 successful for me. Mexico/Argentina being one of those successful, so stoked on that one. That was only way I would go to WC this time around, if I had Mexico/Argentina tickets at least

Damn, 4 accounts all of Them unsuccesfull. The downside of being a Iran fan, its hard to get tickets to their matches.
I do believe that I Will get the tickets eventually, the only thing worrying me is that I still dont have a ticket, and therefore dont have accommodation yet. I want to stay at the Cluster place, and I am afraid that most of Them Will be sold out soon

 

17 (x 3 tickets per match) games applied for Cat 1 in group stages and r16 (and was willing to accept Cat 2 and Cat 3)

Feel i cant be bothered to apply later windows as the logistics of arranging accommodation after this window seems daunting.

 

Don’t despair, there will be a lot of tickets available in the next phase in a couple of weeks.

And anything from here on you don’t apply for. You just see them and buy them immediately.

 

Its more the logistics of organising flights and accommodation for 3 fans in different time zones.
Feel lots of flights and accommodation will get snapped up in due course.

Even if I got say 2/17 matches i could arrange flights and hotels and then buy more games inbetween those dates in later windows.

I also have Costa Rica TST3 tickets from the previous round. If Costa Rica does not qualify, they will refund the money I already paid.

I only had one application in the system. Not sure if FIFA takes this into consideration, but this will be my fourth world cup (Germany, South Africa, Brazil, and now Qatar). I think I got lucky.

 

Our 2x Germany Conditional Supporter Tickets for all 7 games were successful.
No luck with the 4 general International Fan applications.

 

Only applied for 1 ticket this time round for Iran vs European Play off in 3 accounts.

All unsuccessful.

A bit disappointed but still not worried. I already got a Morocco TST3, all the other games I applied for were just a "caprice". It'll either be FCFS or tourism in the Middle East haha

Didn't get ARG v MEX though.

rejected on the arg/mex/saudi matches and 2 apps for the 4 game stadium series

 

I am pretty sure that these quantities are somehow filtered out. I also did this on the first phase and all were unsuccessful. I think they have a way to filter people who send in more than like 10-20 applications. Anobody been successful by sending 100s of applications? Ever for UEFA the people who are successful only sent in like 1 app. Interesting.

 

50 applications, 13 successful... now i have to do the math and choose the best options

 

Is there anybody Else who still hasnt gotten a single ticket yet? If yes, do you also feel the pressure of not getting a reasonable accommodation?

 

Got 6/8 games. Didn't get the France vs icp and Poland vs Saudi arabia

 

Have my tst3 Brazil from before. now everything was unsuccessful except conditional final Brazil. Lets go!

 

You can come up with a random ticket application number and book an accommodation with it

 

When’s the FCFS start date believed to be again?

 

Between myself and family, only successes were via the supporters tickets option (90% successful):

2x CAT2: ESP GER
2x CAT3: POR GHA, BRA SRB, POR URU, JPN ESP, KOR POR, CMR BRA

Every and any IMT was unsuccessful. A sea of red!

2/6 Partially successful.
Got NED-ECU cat 1, ECU-SEN cat 2 and URU- POR cat 2.
All applications had MEX 16s conditional and all rejected. That'd be my only focus during FCFS if available.
