Wow. Thanks for posting this. A lot of us on this forum watched that live and I don’t think anyone thought he would become a bigger legend than RC and become one of the most successful footballers of all time. All while being a great human being and family man. He will be sorely missed. But what a journey. He should be as proud of himself as we all are of him
Greatest leftback in history. Just an amazing technical player. His dribbling was out of this world, but his entire game was just on point.
2nd best, but still a legend I think he'll get a position in the club some day, much like the greatest left back in history have now.
I been on the Marcelo bus since Day 1. I have never ranked my favorite Real Madrid players before, but I think Marcelo is probably in my top 3.

Damn. Just watched the stadium celebrations and Marcelo’s send off. I was definitely tearing up when he was crying. What a legend. He will be missed. But he will be in our hearts forever.
Incredible that out of all the young guys we signed back then, it's Marcelo that has this absolute perfect career with the sweetest way to end it.

Marcelo and Modric have always been my favourite players of this golden era.Marcelo is in my opinion the best overall footballer skill wise of the past decade...technically he is better than Messi and i dont count Neymar who is a beach player. The things Marcelo did on the pitch regulary with the ball ,no other player did .
