The call on midfield is the key, as it has been in every knockout round so far tbh. It’s the final, we cannot afford to be dominated for 70 mins before our subs like we have in some games, that’s asking for way too much trouble.

Kroos and Casemiro have given us so so so much already, but lately so have we by keeping the faith in them when they’ve not been at their best. We need them to repay us that confidence in the final.

There are some elements to our game that’s making me very nervous, I just want the game to start already and hopefully the boys pull off another killer game.

If someone told me before this season:

"Real Madrid would win the league and play in the CL final, but lose out on their top transfer target.".

I would say "Very well. I'll take that all day.".

Trophies matter more than who plays on the team. There is no trophy for signing so and so player. They don't go into the history books. Nobody will remember who signed and who didn't a couple of decades from now. Everyone will know that Real Madrid won a record extending La Liga title and potentially a Champions league trophy.

As a Real Madrid fan, I am happy about what this team has achieved. But as any devoted madridista, we always hunger for more. We need this CL trophy to make us satisfied. I hope the players make our wishes come true.

This could be the final time we see some of these legends in the Champions League final. Many of these players gave everything for the shirt. They brought Real Madrid to 5 champions league finals in 9 years. It could be the swan song for some of the truly elite players to ever don the great white shirt. It has been our privilege to watch them.

Marcelo, Benzema, Modric, Kroos, Isco, Carvajal, Bale, Nacho and Lucas Vazquez.

There are not enough superlatives to summarize what these players have done for Madridistas all over the world. Many of them will walk away with only 1 player having more CL trophies, the legendary Paco Gento. Incredible! I want this win for them and their legacy. They deserve it.

I agree but he still has great experience. I hope Militao, Alaba, Cortuis and Casemiro be at their best.

 

I forgot that he played in the CL final for Bayern against Chelsea, where they lost. If he was at RM for La Decima, he would've been clear ahead.

 

Football is so athletic these days I don't know how experience can still be a major factor. But I think it can help. Nobody beats KCM in terms of experience. I just hope these guys got the rest they needed and are ready to give it all mentally AND physically, cause Liverpool is gonna be as tough as it gets in that regard.

I think Fede instead of Rodrygo is the way to go. Bring Cama and Rodry on the 2nd half, and Bale to finish things off.

If this games goes to penalties, and those two come off the bench to score penalties....well, I don't know what to say.

There are 5+1 Extra Time Subs. I assume Rodrygo/Camavinga/Ceballos/Asensio are the first 4 subs.

Depending on position .. Lucas would be one of the first 5 subs too. And there is also Marcelo. So maybe we won't see this alternate universe where Hazard/Bale get off the bench.
