We should get that Halaand kid. He would definitely be a good fit with Benzema and Vini, then transition to Vini and Rodrygo.

Leao and Doku could end up better than Vinicius and Rodrygo under our development. I mean who knows. It depends on the price. All I'm saying is Vinicius and Rodrygo were very good deals for money. Even Asensio who turned out mediocre was a great deal when you consider the price.

 

I don't think many us have a problem giving the RW slot to Rodrygo. Problem is, the rotation would be Rodrygo, Asensio (who doesnt track back), Hazard (who we basically couldnt be trusted to play 10 full games a season) and Valverde (who should be central). And we see what a cluster f*k that side is.

Add to that the aging Carvajal and Lucas at RB.

 

If Vinicius gets his Spanish Citizenship then Kubo is back in the team and can play in the right with Rodrygo. We also have Arribas who can as well.

We already play KCM+V anyways so why we need another RW just because isn't that convincing an argument.

It would be one thing if we didn't already force KCM in the line up and found a place for Valverde on the right... but we do.

What we need is someone who can adequate help Benzema.

 

I doubt I would take Kubo back just like that. I have already posted this a couple of times but Kubo is actually known to defend less than Asensio. This is not an exaggeration.

It is why he gets benched often. First at Villareal and now at Mallorca.
He just doesn't track back and often ends in the doghouse. He is not an indisputable starter at MALLORCA.. a team that barely survived relegation.

Unless Kubo does wonders in the preseason, I think he is sent out on again on loan. Or maybe even sold with a buyback.

 

Right now I have much more faith in Arribas contributing than Kubo. This has more to do with how dissappointed I am with Kubo's progress.

Dortmund seems to be interested in Arribas....NOT Kubo. That should tell you everything.

 

Kubo needs to reinvent himself as a CM if he wants a future at a top club.

 

Have a bad feeling we’re going to lose Tchoumeni to PSG, and Bellingham will be a tough one next season as we’re going to go against Manure/Chelsea and City for him.

PSGs spending power will be unmatched and it’s another feather in their cap to hijack the transfer from us. We should float some rumors that Asensio and Hazard is interested in PSG….

I reckon PSG will go up to 100m for Tchoumeni and offer 12-15m net for wages. We can’t come close to that.

 

i will not be surprise if we loose him too we had to close the deal fast, it will be to much for me.

 

I don't particularly care if we're outbid and lose him to PSG. If they want to spend 100m on him, they can have him.

I agree with @Hendrix22 that we should telegraph to other clubs on the front end that we are not going to get into bidding wars with PSG. That will also let players know that if they want to be a part of our club, they're going to have to apply some pressure to make that happen and/or leave some money on the table as far as wages go. It's unavoidable at this point that we are limited to players who have a particular preference for Real Madrid. If someone's fine wasting his time in Ligue 1 he may not be ideal for us anyways.

PSG can only sign so many players. If they want to spend a billion euros this summer hijacking every one of our potential signings out of spite, so be it.

if Tchouameni goes to PSG,i would like a midfielder like Barela....i actualy think the team needs a creative midfielder more than a DM.Casemiro is staying and will play for another 2/3 years like it or not,Camavinga is ok there and has played his best games replacing Casemiro in the CL

Barela could be Modric/Kroos replcement,he is very creative .

That's fair enough and i understand that, all i'm saying is i prefer Rodrygo to be given the slot first rather than Gnabry or Mahrez or any of those guys, i'd get someone to backup Rodrygo, not someone who will demand playing time and break his continuity at this time

 

I don't understand those players who are satisfied with playing 10 meaningful games per season.

 

Rodrygo has so much potential and his finishing is excellent to that of Vinijr but getting someone like Mahrez or Gnabry may help us cover both Rw & LW if we are selling Asensio
Rodrygo can be our false number 9 and ViniJr and Mahrez cover both wings ( if Benzema is not available )
